uni-ball Air Micro Pen, Set of 4 - Black (UBA 188 M)

If you need a new, all-purpose pen for writing, journaling, signing things, or even sketching, I highly recommend the Uniball Air Micro. It has a .5mm rollerball tip that flows as smooth as silk, and the archival quality black ink is the blackest I've ever seen in a rollerball (I find most end up bluish/purplish/grey, and definitely aren't as dark). It almost writes like a fountain pen, but without getting scratchy, it never makes a mess, AND it's cheap as heck. It totally defeats the popular Pilot G2, imo. I'm a lapsed fountain pen user (after an unfortunate leaking incident) and needed a pen to keep in my desk and purse that I didn't have to worry about (so NO drying out or leaking!). This is the best I've ever used, and this comes from a longtime Micron lover ;) As always, for best results, make sure you use nice paper (I use Midori!).

Sleek & smooth writing. I use this every day at the office. Easy to write with, adequate ink using. Perfect for those who enjoy an "inky" pen.

The Uniball Air Micro is a bit more rough on the paper, and marks are a bit less consistent. There also seems to be less line variation. Overall it's still a good pen, but I'd stick to the regular Air.
