⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ AND 👍🏻! If you ask me how to pronounce this stuff—or spell it without looking at the tube—I’m at a loss and can’t help you. Sorry. 😂 But if you ask me whether it works? HECK YES. This stuff works like magic! I originally bought it after developing an embarrassing, quite nasty patch of carbuncles on my chin that ultimately required antibiotics. Not only were they absolutely unsightly, but they were deep in the tissue and OH SO painful. I did what I always do and went down the research rabbit hole. After reading and comparing everything I could find, I ordered three different drawing salves hoping to get some relief. Ironically, this was the least expensive of the three, so naturally I tried it last. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I used the first two according to their directions, left them on for 9–12 hours, and saw absolutely no noticeable change or relief. Finally, I broke out this stuff—which from that day forward has simply been known in our house as “the magic ointment,” because again… I have no idea how to pronounce its actual name. 😂 I carefully spread the dark, sticky, rather odd-smelling ointment over the area and was honestly amazed by how much better the area felt and how quickly things seemed to start moving in the right direction. And that first experience definitely wasn’t a one-off. Since then, we’ve used “the magic ointment” for splinters, ingrown toenails, cystic acne, and the occasional angry little pimple that decides it needs to announce its presence to the entire world. Every time, it has earned its permanent spot in our bathroom cabinet. For me, it seems to help bring whatever is causing the problem toward the surface, relieves some of that awful pressure and tenderness, and allows the area to settle down much more quickly. At this point, this has actually replaced the beloved pimple patches that once occupied a ridiculous amount of real estate in our bathroom cabinet—which is saying something. 😂 It’s dark. It’s sticky. It smells a little weird. I still can’t pronounce it. And I will absolutely continue buying it.

This actually helped me a lot. I have suffered with ingrown toenails my entire life, I've even had surgery on one of my toes to just prevent the nail from growing back. And this really helped me deal with a particularly stubborn one. The customers are totally right with the fact that it is not a pretty color, but it does what it's supposed to. 2 days of putting this on and then I was able to take care of my toe issue.

This ointment is the best. It helped my husband so much. We were so glad Amazon carried it. It had been years since we had been able to find It . Ichthammol is the only thing that works.

This is the old fashion remedy to help a boil come to a head. It's important to note this ointment has 20% of active ingredients. Other products have only 10%. This will literally work in 1-2 days. Many pharmacies no longer carry this so if you have a man who gets boils on his back, you need this in your medicine cabinet.
