Very overpriced

Really disappointed with the stand. The majority of users will be large/giant breed dogs and this is not sturdy enough. Our newfoundland just knocks it over, very easily. I also think it's very over priced for what it is, too.We have sorted it out; my husband removed the feet off the bottom of each leg, cut out a square piece of wood to make a base, which is 2 inches larger than the original footprint and screwed each leg into it. The newfie hasn't tipped it since but it's disappointing that we've had to do that. We might as well have made it from scratch.The actual slopper stopper bowl itself, is an amazing life changer!

The stand is sold separately from the bowl which I was not a fan of. I wish that they had a bundle deal because the stand is sturdy and very nice when the separately purchased bowl goes on top. I understand having the option to purchase separately in case of damage or needing replacement but I would have liked more options.The stand doesn't have suction power so not sure why that's a rating area - the bowl does its manual but works very well if you purchase it as well. The bowl and stand were very expensive running at over $70 together when I bought them. The stand is great and fits the bowl well BUT for what it is a modern plant stand would have done the same job for a quarter of the price.

Easy to assemble and fairly sturdy. Perfect size for the bowl and seems to make it easier for our dog to drink from as the angle is reduced. I think if you’re purchasing for a medium or larger dog it’s a must.

The seller has done a great job explaining it is *just* the stand, but I wanted to make that point in the review too, so everyone is absolutely certain that it does not come with the bowl.It works really well with all the 9.84" diameter slopper stopper bowls. The fit is snug and looks really nice! I have the Giant breed size and the final height it also great.The stand is very well constructed and manages to put up well with the constant water dripping that my VERY MESSY drinker still manages to spread all over (if you're wondering, the slopper stopper bowl helps contain it by a whole lot, otherwise I would easily have 5ft of water splashing, but nothing is enough to stop my Great Pyr from making some level of a mess).Definitely recommend!
