I bought these a few weeks ago as a possible replacement for my 20+ year old Oakley M Frames. I do a lot of cycling and during the summer I like to start before dawn, so I thought the phototechs would be a great way to stop having to bring a set of clear glasses along with me. Trouble is the Crits don't go clear in low light or dark situations, and when the sun is up they are not as dark as the Oakleys, They're passable in these situations, but not as great as advertised. The other thing is they are advertised as anti fog, they are marginal on this issue too, better than some, but not as good as they say. otherwise they fit great and look awesome and the polarization and UV protection is better than my non polarized Oakleys. but they could be so much better, I gave them four stars because I couldn't give three and a half.

The glasses fit well, and the lenses do not distort, so the optics are good. The tint is the right shade for full sun, and they are comfortable. However, the Polarized Fototec features do not work—no discernable difference exists. I am used to prescription Transitions and polarization, which is very effective. It is not noticeable on these glasses, so it is sort of an overpromise. It's up in the air whether they are worth $100…

The perfect combination, photochromic and polarized. No tearing and very well ventilated. No complaints! Love them.

Very dissatisfied- image after just opening. product did not come with fototec lense as described - the price tag in what was received was $69.90 - $20 less than what they charge and the description of what was received said it would come with interchangeable lenses and cleaning bag which was also not included. You also have to pay postage to return the product. Hope I will actually get a refund.

I've had several pairs of Tifosi but these are the clearest most comfortable yet. No issues with fogging up and the transition lenses are great for all conditions.

These are really nice polarising sun glasses. However if your car has a Head Up Display that relies on reflecting the information off the windscreen, then that reflected light will be polarised in precisely the orientation sunglasses are designed to block. So that means that you cannot see your HUD. But if that's not an issue for you, then i'd say they are really nice sunglasses and the extra photochromic darkening/lightening is a bonus.

I was looking for some good running shades that were not overly expensive but would fit well, stay in place and have variable darkness for differing conditions. These fit the bill perfectly!

Excellent quality glasses. Very comfortable to wear and protect eyes well. Don't move even under got and sweaty conditions

Nice sunglasses. Bought a pair last year to run The Great North Run in. Like the last pair, these sunglasses stay in place whist running even with sweat pouring from my head, they don't move. They are lightweight, and yet strong and durable. No fear of them breaking should you drop them. I used to go for Oakleys for the curved shape, non slip which would cost me £200+, but now these are my go to sunglasses for activities in the sun, saving a huge amount of cash and still being practical and stylish.
