The factory grease is thick, so the first spins feel stiff until they break in - fine for rollers and pulleys, not a fidget toy or a speed build. For DIY use they are the cheap answer; count them when they land and do not judge them in the first five minutes.

I bought this to refresh a few sets of skateboard wheels and they are a great value. The double rubber seals do a decent job of keeping out dust and grit, though they do have a slight 'break-in' period before they reach maximum speed. I docked one star because the factory grease is a bit thick, which slows the initial free-spin, but for the price, you can't beat having so many extras on hand

The bearings are fine for their stated use. I personally think the lubricant they use is way to thick for the purpose of the bearings, but then again I'm not the manufacturer. If the grease it to thick, you can wash it our and replace it with a lubricant that works better for your application. My biggest gripe about these bearings was the way that they were shipped. I bought a multi-pack (20 pieces) and the box of bearings was thrown in a box with other items. During shipping, the box they were packaged in opened and several of the bearings actually fell out of the outer shipping box. Amazon made good on the order and replaced it, but it would have been smarter to secure the bearing package before tossing it in the shipping box. When all was said and done, these bearings are decent for the price paid and I'm able to use them for the purpose I purchased them for.

I got these bearing to make fidget spinners. The first several spins felt stiff but after playing with it for a day. It seems like they broke in rather well. The speed started off a bit slow but seemed to normalize shortly thereafter.

Sorry for the delay in sending a review. I bought these Bearings for my grandson and, as he was the one to use them, I waited till he came home from boarding school. Yesterday he fitted them to his skates and went to town to try them out. He tells me they are very fast and totally silent. So we give them 5 stars. He removed one rubber seal and found they were already very well greased and in no need of further lubrication. Here is a photo
