I love this hair oil and I do not say that lightly. I’ve tried at least five others before this and none compare. I have type 3B/C hair in a dry climate and I only shampoo my hair once a week. That said, it’s difficult to keep my hair moisturized but this product works great to add softness, moisture, and shine without looking greasy. I use this on half my hair to my ends, just a couple drops is enough for my long and thick hair. It may be pricey, but this will last me quite a while and was well worth the price. I’m sensitive to smells however I love this scent. Smells light and fruity/floral. The dropper pulls away clean and doesn’t make a mess. The packaging is sleek and would look great on any counter/in cabinets. Highly recommend, this is my new go to hair oil!

I use this to break my gel cast after my curly hair routine. It is very light weight but surprisingly effective. It made my hair shiny and soft. I have thick corse hair but it is also a mixture of 2b/c and 3a. Definitely recommend for this purpose! I bet its works well after you have straightened your hair for extra shine. Light and not greasy at all.

I have fine, wavy hair, and for over 50 years, finding a hair oil has been almost impossible—they always leave my hair looking greasy and weighed down. The JVN Complete Nourishing Shine Drops are the first oil I've ever used that actually works. It doesn't turn my wavy curls into limp strands, and instead just leaves my hair feeling soft with a touch of shine. The scent is lovely, a fresh, faint smell that isn’t overpowering. I only need a few drops for my shoulder-length hair, focusing primarily on the mid-lengths and ends. Since you need so little, this bottle will last a long time, so the value is there for me. I especially love that it’s designed to be applied to dry hair, making it easy to grab a quick boost of smoothing hydration without a full wash. This is officially a staple in my routine!

After using this product for a couple months I can genuinely say this is needed in your hair care arsenal. Everyone needs a good quality shampoo and conditioner followed along with good oil. I use this after I shower with dam hair and it not only does it smells great but it also helps my coils. Very nice luxurious smell and feel. Also great for night routines to help your hair prep for the next day. Very versatile.

I love this product. I use it to scrunch out the crunch on curls after styling and it makes the curls soft, silky and shiny. I also have taken to smoothing it on my lengths if I dry my hair straight. Still brings a great soft shine without feeling sticky or greasy. I am hooked on this product! The smell is beautiful too! My puppy even thinks so as he is always climbing up to sniff at my hair and to get some cuddles since I have started using this oil. I never want to be without this beautiful oil. Now I want to try some of the other products in this line.

Bottom line: highly recommend as last step for my light colored 2c/3a dry hair. -Pros: works on air dry and blow dry days (doesn’t need heat to activate), adds shine, smooths frizz and fly-aways, subtle light fragrance (similar to a lighter Sebastian Potion 9 or 90s Clairol Herbal Essence) absorbs quickly. no sensitive skin issues, concentrated and therefore cost effective, plays well with other products, glass packaging, quality ingredients, good price, cruelty-free, doesn’t make light hair look dirty or gummy, washes clean without buildup or itchiness - Cons: No one product works for everyone, but this is pretty close.

Purchased for my daughter and she was neutral on these she's had better and she's had worse.

A must for my hair care routine. I have long black wavy hair and finding an oil to apply on hair that is designed to be dry and not damp can sometimes leave my hair greasy. What I like about this product is that it does not leave an oil sleek. It makes my hair soft & shiny without the greasy film. It also has a nice subtle powdery scent to it as well. Salon quality for sure!

Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einem Finish-Produkt für meine Haare, das im Alltag gut funktioniert. ​Zu meiner Haarstruktur & Routine: Wie man auf den Fotos erkennen kann, habe ich recht feines Haar mit starken Wellen (Typ 2C) bis hin zu großen Locken (Typ 3A). Diese Haarstruktur neigt an der Oberfläche schnell zu Frizz, wird aber von klassischen Locken-Ölen oft sofort beschwert, strähnig und verliert an Volumen. Da ich weder Zeit noch Geduld für stundenlanges Lufttrocknen oder die aufwendige "Curly Girl Methode" habe, muss bei mir alles schnell gehen: Ich wasche meine Haare täglich mit sulfatfreiem Shampoo, kämme sie überhaupt nicht (auch nicht vor dem Waschen) und föhne sie dann mit dem Diffusor auf höchster Stufe, weil ich Volumen möchte. ​Die Anwendung (Achtung bei der Dosierung!): Leider steht auf der Verpackung nicht, wie viel man von dem Produkt nehmen soll. Mein Praxis-Tipp für feines Haar: Exakt ein einziger Tropfen! Ich verreibe diesen einen Tropfen in den Handflächen und knete ihn zum Schluss in meine komplett trockenen Haare ein. ​Inhaltsstoffe, Werbeversprechen & Wirkung: Ein klarer Pluspunkt ist die Inhaltsstoff-Liste. Die Tropfen sind komplett silikonfrei. Der Hersteller setzt hier unter anderem auf "Hemisqualane". Das ist für mich ein großer Vorteil, denn klassisches Squalan ist für meine Haare bei täglicher Anwendung nach ein paar Tagen oft viel zu schwer. ​Der Hersteller wirbt zudem mit „Weightless Hydration“ und verspricht, dass das Haar nicht beschwert wird („never weighed down“). Das kann ich bestätigen. Das Haargefühl ist wirklich gut: Die Haare werden spürbar weicher und der Frizz wird gebändigt („Frizz Control“ klappt also ordentlich). Die Haare bleiben schön leicht, fluffig und fallen locker (was natürlich auch vom Haarschnitt abhängt). Das Öl beschwert in keinster Weise. Zudem ist der Geruch angenehm und selbst am nächsten Morgen habe ich keine fettigen Haare. ​Zum Thema „Adds Shine“ (Spendet Glanz): Wer Naturlocken hat, weiß, dass deutlicher Glanz bei unserer rauen Haarstruktur ohnehin immer so eine Sache ist. Optisch (wie auf meinen Vorher-/Nachher-Bildern zu sehen) ist der versprochene Glanz-Effekt bei mir daher kaum bis gar nicht sichtbar. ​Mein Fazit: Wer feine Wellen oder große Locken hat, schwere Öle nicht mag und eine schnelle Routine bevorzugt, findet hier ein solides, silikonfreies Produkt, das sein „Weightless“-Versprechen hält. Wegen der fehlenden Dosierungsanleitung und dem (lockenbedingt) nicht sichtbaren Glanz-Unterschied vergebe ich faire 4 Sterne – allein für die Haptik und das lockere Tragegefühl hätte es 5 verdient.
