100 Buttons to Cover - Made in USA - Self Cover Buttons with Wire Eyes Size 36 with Tool

These are absolutely perfect for my bows and so easy to put together! The back seems to be a bit looser then other brands once put together so easy to snap in but I have had no issues with them coming apart!

I used them for tufting. Used a matching fabric and a little glue for security and they were great.

Made in the USA! 100 buttons for less than $20 is a great deal, but there's a few things to consider before buying them. Bought both the size 30 and 36 wire back kits with tools. The size 36 kit was missing the pusher part of the tool, and may have been previously opened and returned, as one of the bags was open. Didn't bother to count the parts, because many of the size 36 buttons may end up sitting in my stash, but buying 100 buttons was more economical than buying as many as I "think" I might need. Found that one of the metal thimbles in my collection was the right size to become the pusher part. If you're missing the silicone part, contact the company, because I couldn't imagine trying to put the buttons together without it. The template for the fabric circles needed was printed on a business card included in the package. The size 36 circle is too big to fit on a standard business card, so only half the circle is provided - but the template is there. They will probably only work on light or medium weight fashion fabric. I used them with 100% cotton, recycled bed sheet material, and it wasn't easy to get them to snap. It helps to carefully poke the edges of the circle neatly into the cavity, then put the back on, and push one side in and roll the pusher to get the other side in instead of trying to push the whole thing down in one shot. When they finally snapped together, the pressure stretches the fabric enough that the metal kinda shines through on close inspection. Would buy again.

They just don’t hold over time. The covers pop off. I even tried gluing them when pressing them and that didn’t help. The metal needs to fold over more than it does especially for the kinds of upholstery fabric that many want to use with these. I also had to take the tool they sell and add to it get it to really work.
