This is a great tool. It has helped out tremendously.

Great tool, it turns out, to gauge contours during excavation.

Pins immediately started falling out, not enough tension on pins to hold the shape for transfer. Don't waist your money.

Went to use it and it doesn’t stay straight and no way of locking it down. Pretty well useless….

Perhaps it is operator error, yet if it is then it is way too complicated to use. The stainless steel pins do not stay aligned and do not provide a satisfactory template for making cuts. My workmates tried it as well with zero success. I went back to my $20 plastic contour tool. Save your money on this one.
