Good size for small family
This rice cooker is better than I expected, easy to use and clean, rice tastes good, not too dry or sticky. It is not very big but veey sufficient for family of 3 members.

Over cooks
Not good for cooking rice. I'd rather cook it in a pan. Tried all kinds of rice in it and was still over cooked

Brilliant little rice cooker
There's nothing like home made boiled rice..fluffy and delicious..great cooker just put rice and water in and leave it to cook..no hassles. There is one thing you need to ensure though is that you thoroughly rinse the rice until its running clear water and you're good to go. You might need a few trial and error attempts on the rice to water ratio. In general it’s Easy to use, easy to clean and does a very effective job, makes great fluffy rice, rice doesn’t stick on the bottom. Just bubbles too much leaving significant residues on the pot cover. No problem if you wash it right away. Might be hard if let settled for a longer time. The bowl is not dishwasher safe so be prepared to use a sponge.Overall It’s a great product for the price, simple but works well, I haven’t use it to cook yogurt o something else, it cooks rice very well and I have not had any problems. would recommend.

Only used for one week and it does not working anymore
I have only used this rice cooker for one week, and this morning, the time display of this HOMCORT-White Tiger rice cooker kept showing 00.00 and keeps flashing. It does affect the cooking function and I can not use this cooker at all. Tell me how to solve it, or I want a replacement or refund.

Easy to use
This makes enough rice for 2-3 people which is perfect for our little family. It’s aesthetically pleasing and doesn’t take up too much space. It’s good for folks, like me, who tend to let things bubble over on the stove top and you just set this going and leave it until it’s finished with no fuss or mess. It’s instructions are minimal and unhelpful but it’s easy enough to figure out.Makes good rice so I recommend it.

Good value for money
The media could not be loaded. I have been using rice cooker all my life, tried the £300 range and also the £10 range mini rice cooker but never used this size, slightly smaller than regular but not really that small. The listing says this can cook 3 cups of rice but in fact it can cook up to 5 cups, serving 5-7 people. The rice cooker is not the best made but it does the job - cook rice, and it is still 100 times better than using a hob and draining it.The lid is a little hot to handle once rice is cooked, not the best material. The scale on the inner pot gives you the water level you will need for how many cups of raw rice you put in.Note that the plastic cup comes with the cooker is not 1 cup in capacity but slightly less even when it is fill to the top. You will need to measure the correct raw rice amount in cups to match the water scale in the inner pot. Just use the 1/2 cup mark to measure up to the cup you want (2 cups means 1/2cup x 4). Or otherwise you rice will be very soggy. This rice cooker can do other things too such as cooking porridge, congee, yogurt. It can steam meat dishes (if you have the rack and plate for it) or just drop raw marinated meat in the rice and cook them together for a quick hearty meal.Overall, for £45 this is a fair price for a rice cooker at this part of the world. It does cook to my expectation. Two cups of rice cooked in 22 minutes which is a good time. If you like rice but always cook in hobs, I highly recommend you give rice cooker a go, it is so much easier and this one is a good starter version.A few general tips on rice cooking, hopefully helpful:- Typically 1 cup of raw rice yields 1-2 adults portion when cooked- Always wash the rice first before cooking. Just put rice and tap water in the inner pot, stir rigorously and pour out the milky water, repeat 2-3 times until water runs sort of clear- Typically, water to rice ratio is 1:1.2 to 1.5 for short grain or jasmine rice, you get soggy mushy rice if more water than that- The water marks in the inner pot is designed for short grain sushi rice or jasmine rice. Basmati does not need as much water, so probably just fill below the water mark for the corresponding cups of rice. Long grain rice will probably need more water but they don't cook well in rice cooker anyway- Add a teaspoon or two of olive oil in with the water and rice mix before cooking, rice will come out more fluffy
