Mielle Brazilian Curly Cocktail Curl Mousse with Babassu Oil 7.5oz

For the better part of a decade, I struggled to find a hair product that cut down on my frizz without making my curls either crunchy or flat. After many attempts to find the right product, I stumbled across Mielle in my local Target store. It was light and did exactly what I needed it to: make my hair less frizzy while leaving my curls alone. My hair was not crunchy from this product and it smelled fantastic. My Target store stopped carrying this product, so I have started buying it on Amazon and I'm happy with my purchase.

This product of Curl cream delivers like it says. The smell attaches quickly, but is very lovely. I like this product b/c just applying I noticed it curls without retracting all the hair. So it leaves it long p, which is what I wanted. I could pair it with something else, but I don’t have to, as it works alone, on its on. Put some on my kids hair it the same. We all have Category 4 hair. Different varying degrees of A-C. So it’s a winner. It also dries quickly another feature I have been looking for in curl cream products. I don’t want to send my kid to school w/wet hair, that will take minute to dry. Of course you can just blow dry & speed the process along. But no dry with this product. Do wonder why the product doesn’t come in any other size. You find a good product that they put on the market. They test it out & see how the public will respond. If it’s good & the crowd go crazy. They either lessen the awesome ingredients they put in it in the first place. Or the up price with same tube & no offer of more of the product. Ughhh the greed of people.

The product works great as long as you don’t use too much in your hair otherwise it will feel crunchy and have a greasy look. Also smell is a big problem in my opinion, it smells like grapefruit with a strong bitter sourness. I’ve been trying to use other products with this mousse but so far it’s unpleasant smell still comes through.

I’ve just bought this product not too long ago. It smells fruity. Holds well. Makes your hair feel smooth and silky. Definitely holds up to its name. All their products are fabulous. I also noticed when I use these products my hair actually is healthier and grows more. The price is perfect for this product. It only takes a little to use each time so it will last you for awhile

Good mouse

I used for a while this product: Mielle Organics Pomegranate & Honey Sculpting Custard, which smells so good and holds my curly hair, keeps them soft. But this mousse smells almost bad and works like another cheaper mousse..

I have been trying tons of products (some less & some more expensive than this one) that have said they are for wavy hair but none brings out my waves as this product. In this picture, my hair was dyed a darker color at my base but the only product after washing my hair, is the Mielle Babassu Brazilian curly cocktail mousse. It smells so good and a little bit of product goes a long way. It lasts a long time for me (about 6 months). It has a seal that goes away after sleeping (I don’t use a satin cap- which a lot of curly/wavy stylists recommended) but I just wet it again the next day and reapply & it looks great and shiny again. Highly recommend!

If you are black and you trying to find a good Mousse then you came to the right place because this brand hands down has some of the best mousse made specifically for black people's hair. Now I can only speak to our hair type because that is what I have and the people around me also have. However, even if you aren't back I say give it a try you never know the product may do you justice as well. It never hurts anyone to try.

Smells amazing but it’s heavy weight and sticky. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re mixing with any other products.
