Brilliant for mashing into sauces to thicken them up
This is a tin of 400g of chickpeas in water. They are very easy to use, just drain and add to a sauce, then let them simmer for 5 minutes or more. The longer you simmer the more easily they break apart. I used them in a chili and burrito mix. They are great for thickening a sauce without turning dry. There's not much flavour a slight nuttyness and sweetness if anything. They are very good value and packed with extra nutrition. So great if trying to. Great price. From ice cream to curry there's so much you can do with a tin of chick peas. Ready to go. Great delivery, no split shopping bags from heavy tins. Keep the pantry stocked at an affordable price.

Great for Turkish-style rice pilaf and salads – delicious! I bought these chickpeas and use them when making Turkish-style rice pilaf, as well as in salads. They turn out really tasty and add a lovely texture and flavour to the dishes. Very happy with the quality. The only issue is that the grains are a bit small – we personally prefer larger, plumper chickpeas. Still, happy with the taste and quality.

Die Kichererbsen sind sehr lecker und haben ein schönes, leicht nussiges Aroma. Von der Konsistenz her sind sie genau richtig: nicht zu weich oder matschig, sondern mit einem angenehmen, leichten Biss. Sie lassen sich wunderbar verarbeiten, egal ob man sie direkt in den Salat gibt oder sie für einen cremigen Dip püriert. Preis-Leistung: Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Preis. Das Produkt ist im Vergleich zu vielen Markenprodukten im Supermarkt sehr günstig, ohne dass man dabei Abstriche bei der Qualität machen muss. Für eine 400g-Dose bekommt man hier ein wirklich faires Angebot. Fazit: Ein tolles Basisprodukt für die Vorratskammer.
