⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Perfect - A Must-Have for Xbox Media! I cannot recommend this remote enough! As soon as I put the batteries in, my Xbox easily identified the new remote right away with zero hassle or pairing headaches. It was up and running in seconds without needing a physical controller active. By far, my favorite feature is the motion-activated backlighting. Simply moving the remote lights up all of the keys automatically, making it incredibly easy to navigate in a dark room. If you use your Xbox for streaming, movies, or TV, this is a massive upgrade and worth every penny!

Bought for a series s compatibility was great, It connected instantly when I put batteries in the remote. Hit the power button and it turned my Xbox immediately on. The real Test was my wife. She couldn’t figure out a controller. Instead of questions and a small how to. She now can do it on her own. 10/10 recommend for easy setup and the headache relief. Feels great in your hand. Size is not to big or small. And for the price you can beat it. The durability worries me because I drop everything. I can see the illumination through it. So hopefully it’s durable enough that I break it on the first drop. After forgetting it’s on my lap. Lol love that I can pick the sticker of the Xbox symbol. I used the black one because that’s my style.

So, got tired of using my controller as a remote. Had given my other media remote to my aunt to use with her XBox X. (She's in her 70's and plays more video games than I do.) Pro: Great Price Worked straight out of the box. Does everything I need. Lights up like the official media remote. Con: Stated it would lock the battery cover in place and it did, so much so that I couldn't open the back panel. When I finally did get the battery cover open after 2 days of trying, lock broke off. Right back where I started with having to tape the cover closed. At the end of the day I like the remote, don't like the locking mechanism, but for the price you just have to expect some problems. A solid 4 stars.

Just what my son needed to use his Xbox beyond gaming. He loves the light up feature. It was easy for him to use and get comfortable with. So far the battery life seems great. All the buttons work as expected.

This is the worst remote I have ever used. I tried multiple sets of batteries to make sure they were not the issue. The range on the remote is about 3 feet. This means you can not use it like any other remote. If you want to change or select something, you must get up, walk over to the xbox, point the remote and have it nearly touching the xbox before any of the remote buttons register.

Great battery life, feels cheap or not sturdy, looks good. Functional great with one exception if you have a pincode to log into your Xbox profile if it requires an 8 the remote does not have a right bumper or skip button meaning if your pin has an 8 you can not use the remote to log in like my old one.

First, this is really a handy product to use, especially if your entertainment center is an Xbox and you aren't good with a traditional controller. It is familiar to use for someone who was used to using a normal TV remote for their entertainment. The buttons feel a bit cheap, but the layout and appearance is what you would expect for a TV remote. The battery has lasted a while with fairly regular use. The remote is able to function as a TV control a bit too, changing the volume and turning on and off the TV. It does some times have issues with the signal going through stuff, doesn't have to be thick things either. But normal use doesn't have any issues.
