Can the nightlight be turned off? Also can you keep the sound going the entire night?

Hello, thanks for the inquiry. The nightlight can be turned off by touching the Metal Spraker Grill. And if you don't set the Timer, the white noise sound machine can play all night. Any further questions, please feel free to contact us, thank you!

is there a wake up alarm function?

There’s a timer setting to limit how long to hear the noise but no setting for an Alarm. It’s not a clock just a White Noise Machine. It does have a Night Light which is nice.

The thunderstorm setting, is it just thunder or rain and thunder?

The thunderstorm setting has rain with intermittent thunder in the background, subtle as it comes and goes.
