I never used this kind of eyeliner before. It natural brown with metalick shine. Stays all day. No eye irritation and no alergie since I am alergic on very large spectar of ingrediants in make up. It is perfect and so so beautiful on eyes. Gelly texture and brush alows perfect control during apply. Love it ❤️❤️❤️

I find that if this eyeliner gets any review under five stars it's due to user error. this is very same concept as the coal eyeliner that the Egyptians and Arabians wear for sun protection and obviously to look nice. if you need help with how to work with this eyeliner look up a YouTube video on Arabian eyeliner usage and they have entire videos devoted to this. basically it is the same look as a gel eyeliner but the brush really needs to be wet to activate the powder. you can either do that with your little bowl of water or you can use it on your eyes until your eyes water a little bit and then just keep dipping in the pot. The more powder that the brush picks up the more powder that it will pick up the next time and the darker the pigment will get. with consistent use the pigment will be very dark eventually but for the beginning you said you still need to wet it. this eyeliner really shines if you use it to tightline your eyes. there is no burning or stinging, it's great for very sensitive eyes. My recommendation is to put it on before you put any other makeup on. especially if your eyes water. your eyes will water using this, but that is normal and as soon as it stops your eyeliner is absolutely perfect. I'm not saying that your eyes will always water but for the first few times mine water during application and then completely quit ordering with the next few applications. The stuff will last forever. if you can keep up with it you'll still have this eyeliner in 5 years. anyways, I want to delete an outstanding review because this is a fascinating product that has been around for ages.

Spendy but worth every penny. Color is fabulous and application flawless with provided brush, I am 64yo and this eyeliner does not budge or smudge. 12 hours at minimum. Best eye makeup product I've used!!!!!

I LOVE this liner! I have sensitive eyes & wear contacts, & have no irritation issues wearing it. Use a smudge brush after applying & then comb your lashes--this will remove any excess & flaking. When doing this, I've had no issues with flecks throughout the day, it doesn't run with water or sweat, yet is easy enough to gently wash off with makeup remover of choice (I use Drunk Elephant). I have tried all the available colors, & they're all beautiful. I took a star away because I had to buy the gold-handle Lip Liner Brush because the brush that comes with this doesn't last long until the bristles loosen & slide down into the ferrule. And there's no way to fix it once this happens. This has been an issue for the 7 years I've been using this liner, & it's a common customer complaint, so it's a bit irritating that they haven't fixed this yet. But aside from the wonky applicator, the Mystikol Liner is a fantastic product once you get past the learning curve.

I loved this product the first time I bought it from Jane Iredale. When I bought it from Amazon, it did not work the same. Too dry and flakey. The brush did not stay smooth. It's only gotten worse.

The design is good. The quality of the actual brush is ok. I do have to make several passes to get a solid dark line, but it doesn't drag and goes on smooth. It's flakes off even if you use primer after a few hours and needs reapplication. It is good if your just learning how to use this style of liner but if you're looking for all day wear look elsewhere.

This is my favorite eye liner! I absolutely love the fact that it comes with the applicator and the liner itself goes on smoothly! I was very excited to see it is the perfect size to take along in a makeup bag also!

As a 50 year old who struggles to find eyeliner that doesn’t smudge due to my hooded eyes and age, this is the first one I’ve been happy with! Would buy more but I’ve barely made a dent in it despite using twice daily. Highly recommend this!

Product came opened and had obviously been previously used, the brush was caked in the eyeliner which was dry and unusable. Very unhygienic, especially for a product designed to be used on the eye area.
