Q: Is the spigot brass, compared to the plastic i've seen? and i've been seeing a lot of rts stands that collapse, has been corrected?

The spigot is brass which works well. I used 9 lightweight concrete blocks to form a 16 inch high stand that results in a 24 x 24 inch base. The only problem I have had is keeping the mosquitos out. I plan to add a fine mesh screen next year.

Q: Does the stand come with the barrel?
