Question 1

Will rinsing in the shower stain the tiles?

Accepted Answer

My daughter says the remover lightens the hair and takes the colour out so shouldn't colour the bath,

Question 2

how well will this remove black box dye? will it go bright orange

Accepted Answer

I had black hair mine didn't go bright orange it went like a dark auburny colour .. I had 2 use 4 boxes on me as I have really long hair .
It depends on how long it's been coloured black I think if it's been black for ages and you keep putting black dye on top it will probably go like mine did ..

But if its a first colour of black etc it may go bit orangey depending on colour your wanting after it if it goes orangey I would put an Ash blond on it straight after it will get rid of the red tones and you will be able to then put a different colour on it ..

I hope this helps you
Best of luck
If you need any more help I will try

Question 3

How long do you have to leave it before using a dye again?

Accepted Answer

It says on the box that you don't have to wait and so after rinsing it out you can dye it

Question 4

Does this work on dark semi permanent

Accepted Answer

Hi, I’ve never tried it on a semi permanent, but as with any colour product you use on your hair you really need to do a test. If you regularly use semi permanent on top of semi permanent, then it will react differently to you only removing one layer from otherwise untouched hair.
It’s a very good product, but not if you don’t follow the instructions and test first. You need to know what it will do to your colour before you put it all over your head and risk a chemical disaster.
It’s also a very long process so you need to set a whole day aside for this depending on your test result, as you need to time it carefully and you need to do all the timed rinsing steps too!
I was very happy with my result after using it, but when I went to colour my hair, my test strand came out a very different colour and I narrowly avoided a huge disaster. So if you intend to re colour your hair straight away do a strand test first even if it’s a colour you’ve used many times before.
My hair post removal was soft and looked healthy and wasn’t dry straw or breaking off in chunks. I hope you get the results you want
