Excellent quality and absolutely worth the purchase.I’m very satisfied with this straight razor. The materials feel durable and well-made, with an excellent finish and a very elegant design. It’s comfortable to hold and provides a very precise shave. Replacing the blades is quick and easy, and the included pack of 100 blades offers outstanding value for the money.

I've been wanting to try straight razor shaving after trying a bunch of methods. I started with a Gillette Trac II razor and moved to the Schick Hydro 5 after some years. These both have reusable handles and the heads get replaced when the blades get dull. I seemed to get razor burn and or little cuts from these pretty regularly. The replacement heads are also relatively expensive when you project the cost over time. I found that I prefer not to shave all the way down to bare skin. I switched to an electric trimmer to remove the bulk, and a double edge (DE) safety razor (ASIN: B00PKGXZ24) to clean up the lines. The DE has worked really well. The blades (ASIN: B001QY8QXM) are super cheap and I'm still on the 100 pack I purchased almost 8 years ago. I enjoy preparing lather using shave soap (ASIN: B004L4AMIG) in a little bowl (ASIN: B07Q2GD4S7) when I'm not in a rush.I wanted to try a straight razor for lining up. They have a certain coolness that the DE can't quite match. I was initially interested in a traditional straight razor rather than a shavette (the same idea but with disposable blades). I talked myself into trying a shavette first because they are a lot more practical to start out. A traditional straight razor needs to be honed with a strop and eventually sharpened. That's part of the enjoyment of using one, but there is some extra stuff to invest in.The Facon looked like a nice shavette so I decided to give it a try. I went with the Legend, but honestly I don't remember comparing it to the other variations. The razor is stainless steel and looks/feels like a quality piece. It comes with 100 blades so you're good to go for a while. Mounting a blade to the razor wasn't difficult. The blade feels like it's held pretty sturdily by the razor.After some attempts with the straight razor, I found that I prefer the DE. I had to be very patient with the straight razor, controlling the angle and pressure carefully, or I would cut myself. I'm sure it gets better with practice. I don't need to concentrate with the DE razor nearly as much though, and I can use it when I'm in a hurry. I can also use the DE for things like cleaning up the hairline on the back of my neck, which I do by feel without seeing. With that said, I have no hesitations about purchasing the Facon if you're looking for a shavette. A nice gift idea could be one of these, a badger hair brush, a shave bowl, and some shave soap.

A good purchase and good value, I have multiple straight razor and have purchased blades from various vendors, This particular unit comes with Japanese steel blades (however, made in Pakistan) and I have to say, these have to be the sharpest, longest lasting blades I've yet to use. The razor itself has a pro level, quality feel with a standard easy change blade change mechanism

Takes a little getting accustomed to. Blades are very sharp and the replacements are adequate. The crafting is quality and looks like it will last awhile.

Great quality and comfortable to use

The concept and materials are great; however, the execution is a bit off. The two pieces that slide apart to insert the blade don't fit back together securely enough to reliably hold the blade in the place. There's a clip that's supposed to slide over the head of the razor that was originally not closed enough to keep the two main pieces together firmly enough to hold the blade in place. Any time the blade was pointed down, there was a 50/50 chance the blade would just fall out of the thing.I've since bent that clip (gold piece in picture) together. It helps, but I think thru prolonged use, that piece will likely need to be re-adjusted and eventually wear out faster than the rest of the tool.The entire tool feels weighty and sturdy which is nice. The metal doesn't feel cheap, and the blades seem to be good blades.Just a shame I got one where the combination of great parts was executed poorly to end up with a mediocre end product.

Lames rechange

First time I use a shavette and I must say it does a better job than the regular razors. For anyone who hasnt tried shavettes before, you have nothing to loose, its cheap and does the Job. Highly recommended!

Por el precio excelente. Buena calidad constructiva y buen acabado anodizado. Desconozco aún la resistencia a la corrosión pero parece que no poca. Como toda navaja es muy compleja de usar y peligrosa si no se tiene soltura. No lo recomiendo para afeitado completo si no lo has hecho nunca. Yo llevo barba y para definir es perfecto, y mucho más preciso y económico que las normales tipo mach3 que 5 unidades parece que están hechas de cuerno de unicornio por el precio.
