I was finally able to understand the method of updating the firmware.The app will ask to update twice, doing so will provide full functionality.1st time for the firmware and the 2nd time for the bootloader.Tech support resolved this for me.

This is a very feature rich cycling computer I was planning to pick up a cheaper iGPSport unit but thought let me get a future proof option. The unit paired seamlessly with the Spd, Cad and HR sensors I also bought but when prompted to update the unit using the app it failed at 2% and the unit froze in what seemed to be a boot screen with a loading animation. With no proper manual or videos or other user feedback I panicked for a few hours thinking my unit is now dead as I waited thinking it would reset once the battery dies. As I browsed through the app I stumbled on the GS520 repair tool and decided to give it a try thinking what’s the worst that could happen, it successfully revived the unit to the previous version. Feeling relieved I built up the courage to try the update again and it was successful, this update brought a plethora of new features with navigation and notifications that stood out to me among others. However I couldn’t add new sensors or pair phone as the unit would restart, after a quick factory reset for a clean installation the unit functioned perfectly as advertised. It syncs easily and efficiently with strava after a ride, the unit itself is very accurate and works well with all the included sensors for rides, but the companion app has a lot to be desired especially as the only way to control and customize various settings on the unit. The route planner for navigation is one such area.At the end of the day I am very satisfied with my purchase as my second cycling computer with many advance features without breaking the bank it does require some technical knack but I am willing to share any advice learnt for those who have questions. Great product, give it consideration if you are looking for advance features on a budget.

El GPS se conecta muy rápido, la syncronizacion es buena y estable con los sensores FC y sensor de Cadencia y Velocidad que tengo 3n la.marca XOSS.

el equipo no es de la proteccion contra agua que indica, la pantalla esta humeda, cuesta mucho cargar los archivos gpx, y cuando lo hace, estan incompletos
