I used this wiring harness on a 2023 Toyota Carolla. It worked as advertised.

Does not fit Toyota tacoma 2019
Just to let you know, it does not fit the Head Unit of the 2019 Tacoma non JBL head unit. Now i got to do a T for the speakers which i should have done in the first place instead of wasting my time

Easy to install and does the job, but…
The sound quality is not as great as it could be. The output is only capable of 2 volts. I think If it had, at least 4 volts, the clarity would be better.

Needs power
Be aware that unlike almost all RCA converters of this type, this is an active device that you are going to have to scrounge for a source of 12v for it to work. I had already popped open the dash of a brand new car before realizing that the factory stereo had no such output and I didn't want to go splicing into things and voiding warranties. So I backed out and went without a subwoofer until a passive rca converter could be delivered. I liked that it had a single level adjustment for both channels, which seems like an easy thing to get miscalibrated/unbalanced on other models, but the power issue was a dealbreaker for me.

Does it work? Yes!Is it plug and play? NO!But it works so i am happy with it. The dial on the converter cannot be set to 0 or no signalThe red wire is for a 12v constantThe black wire is for GroundThe BLUE wire! Does not turn on your amp, but wait. It is to connect a remote wire to this device to turn it on. Then you splice off of that to turn on your amp.Soooo, blue wire needs a remote switched wire to feed this device, then you splice to the blue wire to your amp. So it isnt to big of a deal but dont expect it to turn on your amp unless you reun the remote switched wire to this device. I used a fuse adapter to get this done. Two actually. One for the 12v constant and one for the 12v remote switched wire.I ran RCAs from this device to a line converter bc i have the stock head unit. This will allow you to prevent the bass roll off from the stock unit when you turn it up. If you dont have this then it will increase highs and mids but the bass will stay the same.Fuse adaptershttps://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B081SR2DVJ?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_imageLine converterhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IIL0LW0?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleUpdate: after installing this line converter with the LCi2 i think i would just use the LCI2. You would need the wire harness from this but delete the line converter, the thing with the rca jacks. Then splice a wire in to run to you're lci2. Either way this will get you a subwoofer working

Only plug and play for signal…
This product is plug and play for my 2021 Toyota Tacoma non jbl head unit. What the seller does not tell you is that you will need to find 12v constant power, a keyed power source, and a ground separately. This harness has wires for all three, but kinda leaves you high and dry with finding a place for them. I would 100% return if I hadn’t cut the harness to add power and grounds as I feel seller could easily add this to their description. Only way I could get this unit to power up without cutting my factory harness was to use an external 12v power source. This put my project on hold until I receive an ACTUAL plug and play harness.
