197 Mil Car Sound Deadening Mat, Sound Deadener Material 36 Sq Ft, 34-Piece

Works well, sticks well, and is easy to cut and shape into different sizes. I’ve had this installed for about 9 months now through heat, cold, mud, and several washes, and it has had no loss of adhesion. It has stayed in place exactly like it should, which is impressive considering my UTV spends more time covered in mud than clean. It also does a great job reducing sound and helps keep heat from coming through the firewall. Before installing it, the cab felt like a rolling oven with a lawnmower concert behind the seats. Now it is noticeably quieter and cooler, and my wife and I can actually talk without yelling at each other like we’re directing traffic at an airport. Very easy product to work with, and it has held up great over time.

I decided to rip out the interior of our Ford F250 Super Duty to install sound deadening mat directly to the floor. I am bad at math and thought I could get by with one pack of the 9.8" x 15.7" pieces but should have gotten two packs. The adhesive is super strong and the material is very thick. This sound deadening mat was a great value and it has lots of uses. It's really effective at quieting road noise and I recommend it.

Very good product used it on a 26 model Oldsmobile for my Wife new car. It was missing material in the rear compartment. It made a 100% difference. The vehicle is very quiet money well spent.

Seals good to metal. Easy to use. Helps with sound quality as well.

Material consists of soft rubbery foam with strong adhesive on one side and what appears to be aluminized paper on the other. To date it has been very effective at reducing road noise in a lightweight vehicle that was built with very little sound dampening. It helps to pre-cut paper templates and cutting the sheets to size before applying. Also work from one end to the other or from center to out to prevent trapping air. Worked so well I made a second order almost immediately.

So far, I have noticed a little bit of a difference with just the little bit of sound deadener that I have applied. It is super easy to apply - just peal and stick. Make sure that you clean the area before you stick it down. Anyways, cheap step for a luxury feeling.

Cheap and falls apart easily the amazon basic is 100x better than this is I had not purchased this would have never worked . I stacked 3 amazon basics side by side ( as i needed 2sq feet for my small electronic drum set ) it came at perfect sized . Then I placed 2 of these on top of that and a final layer of amazon basics because unlike this the aluminum top is not trash . I literally set my drum stand on this sn it tore thru the " aluminum heat shield they call it lol !!! it only weighs 10lbs . Anyway with the amazon basic its together . Is sound proofing well and doing its job .. The main thing is this is a center material nothing can be set on it as it is very flimsy . the amazon basic is like dynomat for cars .. Together they work well

This is a really great product! I’ve used it a few times to insulate engine cowlings and generally stop noise transfer. It is very sticky and easy to cut. Definitely recommended if you’re trying to make machinery or anything that’s noisy quieter.

Applied this foam sound deadening material over a thin layer of butal based sound deadening. Extremely sticky, but so effective. Front driver area of my Ford E250 is So Much Quieter now.. can hear the stereo now. Highly recommend this.

Me decepcionó, es una lámina muy maleable, no creo que ayude mucho, es muy blanda a comparación de marcas como stp o killmat, lo utilice en un cajon plastico y no note mucha diferencia.

It's very lightweight, very thick. Adhesion is not bad, but the foam itself is not strong enough. You can easily rip chunks of the foam when you are trying to remove it while stuck to the wrong place. Also it's a little complicated to peel, paper just ripping apart. However the ability to remove the noise is better than I expected. After applying on doors with 2mm sound deadening, noise level significantly reduced.
