Best Naturals Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D-3 240 Tablets (240 Count (Pack of 3))

1. The label says that there are "240 TABLETS" in the container and that each "serving" provides 700 mg of calcium and 400 IU of vitamin D3. I suppose I should have noticed that switch from "tablet" to "serving." Foolish me. A serving, it turns out, is 2 tablets. So how come the "120 servings" isn't on front of the label in print as large as the "240 TABLETS" instead of in the back in a font one-third the size.2. I usually don't have trouble downing pills, even large ones. But there's something about these tablets that, for me, makes them hard to swallow. I'd guess it's the graininess of the tablets' exterior.3. It seems to me that there are more broken tablets in the bottle than is the case with other brands of calcium tablets I've used. (See photo showing some of the bits and pieces.)

I ordered this supplement as a prophylactic to counter the effects of oxalates in my diet in a continuing struggle with calcium oxalate kidney stones. Reportedly, the citrate supplement will bind with oxalates and be excreted in urine thereby lessening the chances of kidney stone formation. Time will tell.My next X-ray is scheduled for April 2022 and the results will show whether it worked as intended. The bottle indicates two-a-day serving size but I cut that in half to avoid overloading the kidneys with calcium which is present in other supplements that I take. The additional D-3 in these tablets is an added bonus!

Do not buy. More than 1/2 this bottle arrived with crushed and broken pills. What is left has big chunks missing from pills. I have never seen this much damage and I usually buy another well known brand, and have them shipped, but they were out. Total waste of money. Never again.

I tried to called Best natural as they are the manufactures. their customer service is non existent. I had just started to use this bottle I always have back up and this bottle was my back up. I cant return Aug 10 was cut off date. I cant even put the little pieces togethe to make a pill as it is so scratchy on my throat. I am so disappointed. This bottle was supposed o have 240 pills I will be lucky to get 50 normal pills from this bottle

The human body can absorb only 500 mgs of calcium at a time. These giant tablets are 350 mgs each so you need to take1/13 two or three times a day. That's hard cutting up the pills! I take 1 1/2 twice a day and the rest with diet. 1200 mgs is needed twice a day. I ordered Calcium CITRATE and got Calcium CALTRATE which is very slowly absorbed and no where near as effective as Citrate - will never order again.

After looking for the highest amount of calcium citrate and least amount of fillers and other crap, per tablet for 9 months I finally found this product. I had a spinal fusion and my surgeon said that I need to take 2000 milligrams of calcium citrate a day. This and TJ's brand are the only ones I could find. This is the best deal I could find. I was a bit skeptical after buying another brand large bottle on Amazon as the ingredients shown were not the same as the label on the actual bottle that arrived. The tablets are just as good as any other comparable calcium citrate but it's nice to be able to purchase a larger quantity at a good price.

Overall great value for price and basicially the same size as a previous calcium pill I've bought. They also have a nice coating to swallow easily. My only complaint is the bottle was packed with cotton and that is good but I still had a good amount of broken pills in my bottle.

misleading labeling. Just not that great. got these because a preferred type was unavailable. Did not match up in effect and more expensive. Label list per serving (2), not per tablet. Hate that strategy.

I buy this product because it is calcium citrate, which is much more absorbable that calcium carbonate. It also has vitamin D, but magnesium is also need for maximum calcium absorption, at roughly half the amount of calcium. So if you buy this product, you need to ensure that you take a magnesium supplement too. Magnesium citrate is much better than magnesium oxide. I was pleased that my order came in a sturdy cardboard container, when I last ordered this product it was sent in a padded envelope, and some of the calcium tablets were broken. But maybe it was because I ordered two bottles this time that they didn't come in padded envelopes.

They are very good value for money and seem to be working well if my nails are anything to go by - my nails are long and strong. The tablets are large & the dose is two at a time. I especially like that it is calcium citrate which is easily absorbed by the body unlike the calcium supplied on the NHS which can cause kidney stones. The addition on Vitamin D is a great plus and I no longer have to buy this separately. Very pleased with my purchase.

Excellent content in these tablets but we find them too large to swallow - if you break in half they have rough edges ... BUT they are crushable into a powder easily so I have them in a drink which is just acceptable; my partner doesn't like the powdery taste.

My wife takes them 2a day,long term use will give an answer if they work

After searching numerous calcium supplements I find this to be the best. It's got a good amount of calcium per tablet and cost is good also.
