Best thing since sliced bread!
Have been able to jump right in and create a consistent exercise routine that still allows me to work and even relax at the same time! Bought the desk extension kit to provide enough space to function with a drink, snack, laptop, and notebook and it works perfectly. Bike is almost entirely silent, so I can be in the family room with everyone else while exercising and the sound doesn't bother a soul. Haven't attempted to use the resistance bands yet, but my teenage son did and thinks they're fantastic. I love, love, love the massage bar (aka support for your arms and elbows while typing on a laptop;). Once you get in the habit of pedaling while working or watching your favorite show on Netflix, you almost can't stop moving while you're on the bike, which makes you feel so much better mentally and physically. Just purchased the Apple Watch 6 in order to better monitor my heart health and am actually able to use the Workout feature on it for indoor cycling and am so proud of myself! I am a 45-year old individual who, due to an autoimmune disease, cannot exercise in great heat or to the point of overexertion or I won't recover for days. With this bike, I haven't missed a day of pedaling due to exhaustion or weakness since it arrived. I would still recommend slow and steady winning the race in terms of pacing yourself, so I've maintained a tension setting of 1-2 while casually checking email or watching a show, but have made it up to a 4 out of 8 by the middle of my intentional exercise sessions. My body is adapting to that initial bicycle seat discomfort we all experience when we aren't used to it anymore and there hasn't been a day where I couldn't get back on the bike due to that type of discomfort. I'm 5'7" and have the back support set at the highest level, which works well for more relaxing and casual sessions. I do wish it was easier to raise and lower for different scenarios so I could test it out at a lower level for more active pedaling sessions; it's not impossible to move, just wish a more efficient method was provided. Foot straps are great and easy to utilize with or without shoes on. If my review has not yet convinced you how sold I am on this product, does it help to hear that, as of this morning, I have ridden 100.5 miles in only 7 days? I typically wouldn't write a review of this length and depth unless I was writing to warn others of a product I found to be unsafe or falsely advertised, but this bike is the real deal in this time we've been living in and beyond. Thrilled with my purchase and would recommend to others with similar limitations in exercise and health!

Happy Replacement for my 20+ year old exercise bike
Back in November 2023 my 20+ year old bike finally called it quits. I had worn right through the pedal bracket from years of spinning. Getting in shape was an absolute must in 2020 for health reasons, so I was in a bad spot without my bike! Where do you even get these anymore? To Amazon I went in search of its replacement. I wanted something I could work at and spin. During the pandemic, I was blessed with a work from home schedule that has continued into present day. I was used to working and working out. I had a makeshift space in the basement, with a table to the side. It was hard to maneuver, so something with a desk at the front was top priority. I found this model, and while the price was twice what I paid for the old one (thanks inflation), I had to have something. It took a few months to save up, and Christmas brought some money to apply to the fund. When I ordered this bike, I was a bit concerned and cynical. I just told myself to be patient and put it together as I could. The directions recommend that you use a socket wrench, but all the tools are included that you'll essentially need. Some of the nuts will be tougher to tighten (and loosen) without the socket. You can pick up a cheap set at any hardware store (or here on amazon (they said 1/2 inch cuff). When assembling the seat to the pole, note that the front nut is awkward and maneuvering the wrench is a bit tough. Angle the included wrench up toward the pole as you hold the seat down. Grab it with the points of the little wrench and turn it that way. You can't come in on the long piece of the seat and try to turn it. There's no space to turn. I've used this bike all weekend since it arrived. It's smooth AF. It went together fairly quickly (about 1 hour). It has an adjustable tension that my other bike did not. The desk is coated in nonslip rubber and has a lifting panel to support tablets. Under it, you can keep pens/pencils, small pad, and other small items you'll need. It includes a strap to further secure your laptop. The data console attaches on the back edge of the desk (behind your laptop screen), which is nice, so you're not obsessing on the time--just get spinning and working! The desk slides back and forth and secures in place with pressure knobs. The handle bars and backrest are a nice touch. You sit upright in a comfortable position. The pedals have stirrups to stabilize your feet on the pedals (no slipping and slapping your shins with a fast moving pedal). The bike also folds up a bit to store. I'm keeping mine in the basement, as you can see in the pictures included. It didn't need this feature, but will be handy for those with less space. Just a deterrent, in my mind to doing your spin session, when you have to pull it out of the corner first. Complaints: the seat is hard! I already have a gel seat cover from my old bike that I transferred. It's not enough, to be honest. My arms fall asleep a bit when I've been at spinning for more than 40 minutes, due to the pressure of the handle pads (which are supposed to be massaging). I guess move away from typing so much. Couldn't care less about the bands included for arm work. I do a separate core/arm session four times a week. Overall, I am thrilled to have this. I can't believe how quiet it is compared to the chain mechanism bike I used to have. If anything goes wrong, or better, I will try to come update this and let folks know. Happy Biking!

Sturdy stationary bike with a unique bonus
Very good product. I originally purchased this when I was rehabbing a back injury, and walking around the neighborhood was too cumbersome/there was a good chance I'd have to crawl back home. It allowed me to get good exercise in while being able to work on my computer, which was invaluable as I wasn't able to take a lot of time off for my injury. The FitDesk has pretty solid construction, was relatively easy to assemble, and is very quiet, especially on a yoga mat, carpet, or other small surfaces. The desk-mounted fitness tracking device, while nice for measuring distance, doesn't seem to take resistance level into account for its calorie estimation, which makes it feel like a guesstimate. If you have a fitness tracking watch, this is a non-issue. The seat is fine, it's very firm and quite thick, but if you have Hank Hill butt like me, you may want to get some sort of seat support for long rides. The chassis also features a loop that you can thread a resistance band through to get your arms moving while you ride, which is a nice feature. The desk part of the FitDesk is a solid size, I can keep my MacBook Pro 18" and my phone on it at the same time, and it features a nice non-slip texture for stability. The total unit itself also has a pretty small footprint, especially when folded. We moved recently and was able to just throw it in my hatchback with some other things, no problem. It's also quite lightweight, making it very easy to move even from room-to-room. The only real issue I've had with the FitDesk is that the nut that pulls out to allow folding, seems to have gotten stuck over time, and I can no longer pull it out by hand. I'm guessing I'd need pliers, but haven't tried yet. When folded though, it takes up very little horizontal space, and is easy to throw into a closet or similar, which is fantastic for people in small spaces (like I was!). Overall, you get a well-built, durable stationary bike with a small footprint, a great surface to hold your computer/tablet/book/anything that fits, and the reassurance that you're not just sitting still while you go about your day. Considering how much I've used it, the price really can't be beat. Though there are a couple of similar products, they don't seem to have the same portability or feature sets. I'd highly recommend the FitDesk 3.0 to anyone who feels they're a little too sedentary at home, remote workers, people new to exercise who may not have the confidence to go outside and move yet, or really anyone who wants a simple stationary bike with the added bonus of having a place to put your devices. I've gotten a ton of mileage out of it and I think you will too!

A great find. Sturdy and quiet.
I’m actually very impressed with this product. It’s got a heavy sturdy build and is far sturdier than it looks, and I’m a bigger guy. It is indeed very quiet. It wasn’t bad to assemble. And when it folds up to move out of the way, it takes up a very small footprint. I chose not to attach the desk portion. Because I already have a standing desk that I use it with. And it works great.

Great bike for those who want to exercise while working!
I just received this bike last week and I LOVE it! Bought it to replace an older bike because I wanted something I could prop my book on and bike while reading. I stumbled on this, and as a full-time writer/editor who works from home on my computer some 4-5 hours/day (minimum) and a mom with limited free time to exercise, I was really excited about the idea of being able to burn calories while I work. I wasn't sure how well it would go, as far as typing and biking at the same time, but so far it's been a breeze! The first day I had it (which was on a Friday), I rode for 2 hours, about 22 miles, and burned 577 calories. All while working and being productive. At one point, when I was listening to a webinar, I used the resistance bands to work out my arms, and I could immediately feel the burn. On Sunday, when I had about 30 minutes of downtime to read, I decided to hop on my bike again. I love how easily it folds up to conserve space; I leave it in a corner of my living room to remind me to use it whenever I have a few free moments, and so far it's working! My 9-year-old daughter loves using it too; I've caught her hopping on nearly every day. Great for exercise and burning off some of that excess energy. :) Also, I'm currently on the 4th tension level (there are 8 total) and it's enough to make me break a sweat and feel the tightness in my legs while still having room to advance (I was concerned about there not being enough tension, but turns out I needn't have worried!). After receiving the bike, I purchased the extension kit to add the cupholder and room for my mouse, and I'm loving the workspace. Plenty of room for my 15" laptop, mouse, water and phone. Oh and I saw people asking about putting it together, and that was really easy and straightforward too. My husband and I did it together in about 30 minutes, but really it could have been a one-person job. Everything you need is included in the package. This is a fantastic bike for those who are looking to combine exercise with productivity!

A nice product, but could be so much better
I worked in an office that had a fitdesk, but I believe it must have been a commercial model or something older. What I had at the office was much sturdier and had a wider range of adjustment it seems. This fitdesk is nice and was easy to put together, but has much lower resistance, smaller more plasticy desk and not as much adjustment. The arm tubes are worthless, but nice that they included it I guess. I am 5'3 and still young and relatively strong with average proportions and the seat is as low as it can go and as close to me as it can go and it is still a minor ergonomic nightmare. Unless I slump over and rest my elbows on the bar and hunch over my computer I am not really looking into the laptop or able to really type. I will keep this item, but may limit using it to only during meeting times or to consume content like watch a movie on my tablet. As-is it makes my back and shoulders hurt within a half hour. The frame has little creaks and play already even though I tightened everything twice over. When it is folded it isn't completely flat and the back rest flops around. I find it hard to maneuver since it is a bit heavy and pieces flop around as you roll it. The desk sticks out wide and to get it to roll on the wheels you need to tip it pretty far back. So far I have ridden about 30 miles in one day so I would probably be considered a power user, but it is easy to trundle along all day without noticing too much. I like the cubby hole and ordered the desk extension so I can spread my papers and pad out.

Nice, assembly was straightforward and it works well
I am 5' tall and the lowest seat setting works well for me, the highest setting works well for my brother's who are about 5'7 respectively, that is without the included seat extension, so if you are above that and worried you will not fit do not worry - they include an optional seat extension for you. I have NEVER built anything in my life, so when I saw you had to put it together yourself, I was nervous. But the instructions are super straightforward, with additional websites and even apps to help you figure it out! With it, I assembled the bike in about 2 hours (only because I have never built anything and kept stopping to reread the instructions just to make extra super sure I was getting it right). Only had it for a day, but for now it works like a charm. The only cons I have is the seat isn't the most comfortable, it's also not the worst by far, and it's a screw on seat, meaning it's replaceable. I will most likely replace it with a more padded seat. I have had far worse seats on real bikes, so this isn't a make or break thing, more of a personal preference.

Lasts a long time
I bought this bike back in 2018 and have used it almost every single day since. It’s been a great bike and it’s still going strong after all this time with little maintenance. It’s well built and sturdy little thing, offers a reasonable range of resistance and gets you a decent cardio workout. I would advise buying a rubber pad for it to sit on and the arm bands that came with it broke almost immediately so use with caution. I also bought a seat cover because the one that came with it ended up being a bit rough if you spent more than half an hour using the bike. Sound wise it gets a little noisy if you haven’t used it for awhile, I ended up not using it for a few weeks when I got sick. Usually it’ll work itself out but I’ve only had to open it up once and work on it to prevent a very annoying sound from persisting. I haven’t had to move it very much or pack it up. So I can’t speak on that outside of it not getting much smaller after it’s packed up and seems a little unstable if you have a chaotic household that might see someone climbing on it while it’s packed up and having it all fall over. Would recommend storing it in a closet or the like. Overall it’s a great working cheap bike that I would recommend if your on a budget and still looking to get a good cardio workout.

Impossible to assemble, no resistance
Impossible to assemble and doesn't have enough resistance. I get 100bpm max heart rate on this. Can't even hit zone 2. Buy a normal excercise bike.

Great piece of kit, recommended!
Great for exercising whilst working! Not too hard to assemble, comfortable (would be slightly more awesome if you could bring the table part a little bit closer but that's not a big thing for me).

Excellent
Je ne mets pas 5 étoiles car c’est sans doute une édition anglo-saxonne où j’ai des miles et non des km. Durant le confinement ça a été un très bon produit pour permettre de faire un peu de sport tout en travaillant. Je recommande
