Bad bad quality

Really nice little unit. Reasonably sturdy

I purchased a desk with no drawers and this is the perfect fit to slip under my desk or pull out when I need a little extra desk top space. It was a little difficult to assemble the drawers themselves but nothing to terrible. It took me about an hour to assemble the entire thing and once I got going, I did not really need instructions even. The drawers are not on rollers but rather notched into the side of the drawer but they glide easily open and close with no sticking or squeaky noises. This is perfect for any age and so far has been very durable. The white is a good clean sophisticated look. I use this for my desk but could be easily used for many things such as makeup, toys, or even a small nightstand. I would buy this again if I end up needing more space, even though this offers plenty

This item arrived with several of the pieces already cracked, and all of the pieces lacked finishing (they were extremely rough rather than polished smooth. The pieces did not have holes pre-drilled in the appropriate locations, so holes had to be made first, but the "wood" falls apart and splinters when holes are made, even with the supplied screws and hand tools (instructions say not to use power tools - i imagine it would fall apart even more). It ended up being completely unusable and had to be thrown away since the assembly was delayed until after the return period ended. Definitely do not recommend. Plus it is really tiny.

DO NOT BUY. I rarely write reviews but this was a terrible experience. First, the good: Measurements are accurate, it is one of the rare under-desk drawers that aren't a filing cabinet, and the materials are mostly good. Arrived without defects or damage. The bad: Everything else. It is NOT easy to construct, and I love building furniture and am quite handy, and have purchased plenty of cheap furniture that needs to be constructed at home. My bar is pretty low, I know it's cheap furniture, but this took cheap to a new level. There are many screws that are very tough to do by hand - I used a power drill to make the process much faster, but if you don't have power tools this will be a very long and physically challenging process. Would not recommend for older folks. There are no guide holes either so you're praying the screws are going in straight and having to use lots of force to start the screw threading in. Every corner that could be cut was cut. You're supposed to nail in the drawer bottoms and the backboard of the entire unit, if you live in an apartment prepare to be evicted from noise complaints, and the nails are cheap and bend too easily to hammer in. The drawer tracks are hardly tracks, they tug and have no backstop so they will fall right out of the tracks - do NOT recommend for kids. The wheels have to be hammered in, I'm a fit healthy adult and needed my husband to smash them in, and every time it splits the surrounding wood. Just horrible quality all around, I can't believe this can even be sold. The return rates must be through the roof. Save yourself the money and buy the IKEA Alex drawer.
