I got these bolts to use as the fastener to keep my license plate on. I liked the black color on them but in about 2 months they are completely rusted and no longer black. These are expensive for what they are and I expected them to not rust.

These worked exactly the way I needed them to. The machining and finish are clean, the threads are consistent, and every bolt in the pack was usable with no defects. The flange design is nice because it spreads the load and eliminates the need for a separate washer in many situations. The black oxide coating looks good and provides decent corrosion resistance for general shop and project use. The heads are well-formed and fit a socket cleanly without rounding or slipping. I’ve used several of them already and they tightened down smoothly with no binding. Overall, this is a solid pack of fasteners at a good value. If you need reliable bolts for projects, repairs, or general hardware stock, these are a good choice.
