I really liked that the sizes of the plates were varied. The set comes with: 6 TIER CAKESTAND SET INCLUDES: (2) 8 INCHES PLATES (4) 10 INCHES PLATES (4) 12 INCHES PLATES (1) 14 INCHES LOW PROFILE PLATE (2) 5 INCHES PILLAR (2) 10 INCHES PILLAR (1) 15 INCHES PILLAR ..... We displayed 150 cupcakes using the top and bottom plates to hold the cupcakes. It really looked nice. I also like the idea of the tubes being clear.... we used tissue paper (our theme color) and crinkled it up then loosely filled the tube. It added just the right touch.

If I order this can you use bubble wrap to pad the pieces so they won't get cracked? Many customers were complaining of cracks due to lack of padding.

Yes you should bubble wrap it cause mine was also crack lack of padding

Is this a flimsy item? I don't want anything falling or for the item to break.

Not Flimsy But A Hard Plastic. One Of Our Plates Cracked And So Now Only A 5 Tier. But Looked Nice On The Mini Dessert Buffet At My Daughter's Wrdding. Must Treat Very Gentle. Otherwise, A Good Purchase.
