This has been an excellent wine key for home use. I can't speak to how it would hold up in a professional restaurant environment where it might open dozens of bottles every night, but for regular home use it's been a great tool. The first thing I noticed was the overall build quality. Unlike some of the cheaper wine keys I've owned, this one doesn't feel loose, flimsy, or overly flexible. Everything feels solid and well put together, which makes opening a bottle smoother and more predictable. I've used double-hinge wine keys before and never really understood why people preferred them. They always felt awkward and slower than they were worth. For whatever reason, this one finally made it click. The action feels natural, the leverage works well, and extracting corks is noticeably easier than with many of the simpler openers I've used. If you're a regular wine drinker, you probably already know that a good wine key can make a surprisingly large difference in the experience. Opening a bottle isn't something most people think about until they're fighting with a poorly designed corkscrew. This one avoids those frustrations. It feels durable, operates smoothly, and does exactly what a wine key should do without drawing attention to itself. For home use, I think it's an excellent choice and a noticeable step up from the bargain-bin openers that tend to end up in kitchen drawers. After using it, I have a much better appreciation for a well-made double-hinge wine key.

This is a great waiter-style bottle opener. Everything about it is high quality. Good foil cutter, easy corkscrew and excellent two stage opening. And the rosewood handle is beautiful. If I lost this, I would replace it with the same one immediately.

I work at a wine bar here in California and the place is always packed to the walls with people. I am constantly busy and we net ~$30,000 a night on weekends just in wine sales. My boss told me I needed to start buying my own wine keys (another name for a corkscrew) so I went online to Amazon. I didn't know if I should take my chances on this corkscrew from HiCoup based on all the 5-star product reviews. How could this simple little tool garnish so many raving reviews? It seemed unreal to me. I also didn't want to drop fifteen dollars on something that I go through so often at my workplace, but I took a chance and bought it anyways. I'm very happy and I do not regret my purchase at all. First day using it was spectacular. The tool itself has the perfect weight. It really feels like you are holding something of quality and craftsmanship. With a nice finish on the wood and a comfortable grip, it works perfectly in a high paced work atmosphere. The double hinge is fast and strong with the first lip usually doing the job if I'm not being lazy. The serrated blade is the best! It cut through even the thickest necks of wine bottles and just *works*. The 'worm' is very cool, with an inline groove running along the corkscrew down to the point. i do not know what this feature is for but it makes my open bottles quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this tool to anyone! I would not spend $35+ on another competitors corkscrew since this one works so well. I plan on owning this for a long time and since the company offers a lifetime warranty on the product, I don't think I'll ever need to replace it. Very happy with my purchase! *TIP* When I first received the item, the hinge between the bottle opener and the handle was very stiff and opening the corkscrew was difficult and annoying. I dabbed a little bit of olive oil onto a rolled paper towel and rubbed some into the two hinges, thus reducing the friction of the metal and fixing my one and only problem. I would recommend doing the same if you're experiencing the same issue.

It's a bit large to carry in your pocket, but well made.

This really is a great wine opener. This is the second one we have purchased due to needing two inside the house. The probably one is 3 years old and still works perfectly.

I wasn't sure about this wine opener at first. I had been used to my old one that was stolen, so this one felt tight and awkward when I first got it. But now that I've used it a few times it's the easiest most effective wine bottle opener I've ever had. And if I work a bartending shift, I might open 10 - 12 bottles a night. It's the perfect size if it's perfectly in my hand. The pull up part when you're popping the cork is so smooth. It makes opening any wine bottle easy and it looks beautiful. I chose the black handle, but it also comes in wood grain.

I bought one a couple years ago, use it several times a week and it works really well. So I'm giving one to a friend.

E' un buon prodotto con un prezzo accessibile. E' un po' pesante ma funziona bene. E' bello anche esteticamente con l'inserto in legno. Arrivato ben imballato e in tempi giusti.

Easy to use

La calidad y los acabados son de 10. A algunos nos parecer caro un sacacorchos de 10 euros, pero creo que los vale de sobra.
