VALRHONA Cocoa Powder, 250 GR

This cocoa powder is so rich in flavor. The quality is super. I purchased it for a chocolate Gelato recipe and the flavor is outstanding.

I've wanted to try this brand for a while since it's always dubbed a premium dark chocolate. It's good -- rich flavor, bold, better than most. However, Equal Exchange baking cocoa is comparable, cost less, and is available to purchase on the ground at Natural Grocers. I'm not disappointed with this purchase at all. It's just nice to know I've been getting a quality cocoa all along and won't have to switch up.

This is the way cocoa I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot. Super rich, high fat content - if you make a strong cup of cocoa with it you’d swear it was hot chocolate instead. Excellent, balance chocolate flavor. The price is high, but getting through Amazon in this package is the best price around. I think it’s definitely worth it - not only does it taste amazing, but it’s more potent than any other cocoa powder I’ve tried - there’s none of that chalkiness that makes me feel like I’m eating filler. This is ALL flavor!!

I have bought this cocoa powder before and loved it. This one tastes off -- perhaps because it isn't fresh at all and was made 1.5 years ago (according to production date on package). It expires in a few months. I wouldn't recommend.

This is such finely ground cocoa powder that it stirs into hot water and dissolves, which is good to just drink instant coffee style, adding a little creamer and sweetener. The texture is more like corn starch or talcum powder that other cocoas. It has a unique, bold and smooth chocolate taste. Excellent to blend in a little with some frozen bananas.

What I like about this cocoa powder is how rich is makes a chocolate dessert taste. My chocolate sachet torte was the best I’ve ever made using this brand.

I really like this cocoa but the box I received in February 2024 expired in October 2023. Be aware that you may receive it past it's use date. The product can't be returned and it is expensive so buyer beware.

I bought this because it was recommended in a chocolate cake recipe that I found online and it didn't disappoint! I usually buy the cheaper brand but my cake was taken to a new level with this cocoa powder. Give it a try.
