Oceanic OCi USB Cable can't Start Fires or Beat Ninjas!! Why does it have to be so EXPENSIVE???
This is a USB interface cable for use with my Oceanic OCi Dive Computer and my personal computer. It is a required cable for connecting my Oceanic dive computer to Oceanic's software for downloading my dive information for analysis and storage. Basically, a dive log as only a dive computer can save it. I've enjoyed my dive software from Suunto dive computers for years and the ease of plugging up your dive computer to my computer for download of my dive logs. The USB data cable for my Suunto was about $20. This cable should never cost $100 and for that I'm taking away two stars. I realize it has a very special connector at the end for attaching to my Oceanic OCi, however, its still nothing more than a USB cable. I can't use it for starting fires or beating Ninjas from my hotel room. It is a USB cable for a very particular type of dive computer. $100 price is Robbery!!
