YAMASAN KYOTO UJI Sakura Black Tea Loose Leaf (80g) - Blending Benifuki and Japanese Sakura Cherry Blossom Leaves, Floral and Refreshing Wakocha

On those early spring days in Maine, it is still pretty darn cold. I wanted to try a different flavor of tea and we chose this one. We were not disappointed. It is a Black tea with a very light subtle floral taste. It's not overwhelming and it's not under whelming. It was perfect. If your looking for something different to try - try this. I wanted to try it as a cold iced tea but time and life took full speed so I'll have to try it later. If you like tea and are not too adventurous with different tastes - I'd recommend this tea. The floral notes hit your nose and tastebuds and help shortbread cookies go down easily. Enjoy and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tea.

This tea is wonderfully fragrant and delicious, with subtle notes of cherry blossom. After drinking it, I felt a sense of calm and tranquility, which was much needed after a turbulent week. A teaspoon was perfect for multiple cups using my Gong Cha set!

I'd call this a "special occassion tea" b/c of the price, but although it is expensive for the amount you get, it is worth every penny. The flavor is delightfully unique, smooth and rich, with delicate cherry blossom notes that leave you craving more. If you're a tea lover, especially loose leaf black tea, I'd highly recommend you try it. It's like nothing else I've ever tasted. I only wish it was less expensive so we could make it our every day tea.

This tea is wonderful! I love it. Just a tiny bit of honey and it’s so relaxing and aromatic. I highly recommend this for people that like black tea with a soothing cherry flavor.

This tea is fantastic! It tastes great whether in loose leaf or in a tea bag! Highly, highly, highly recommend! 10/10!

So good. Made in Japan. Delicious and relaxing.

Infused Japanese vodka with this tea. Used 1/4 loosely packed tea per one 750ml bottle for 5 minutes. Subtle sakura flavor and tannic on the finish but strong enough to use for cocktails.
