What I like about these dried cherries is that there is not added sugar and you get to taste the cherry by itself.

I make fruitcakes all winter and use these cherries. No, they are not bright red but it doesnt matter when the taste is there.

There was no sunflower oil to detract from their flavor. No pits! Uniform moistness. My only negative is the flavor seemed subdued compared with Montmorency dried tart cherries.

good stuff, so I'll get it again, but it does have some stone fragments within, so you can't just chew away, which takes away from experience

There don't seem to be very many options for organic tart cherries with no added sugar or oil or other ingredients offered on Amazon. I was hoping to find US grown cherries, but everything I found is not organic or has added sugar and/or oil. These are not US grown, the package says they're from Uzbekistan, but they are organic and definitely don't taste like they have added sugar or oil. The cherries are soft and pleasantly tart and fresh (the use by date is 3 years out). Just what I was looking for. I would happily buy them again.

These cherries are tart and unsweetened, exactly what I was looking for! Really nice and dry, so you get your money’s worth and aren’t paying for the moisture. Delicious!
