Bought to torque head Bolts. Worked great!

I like simple. Beam type torque wrenches are old time tech. but have stood the test of time. This is a quality tool, with a nice case to protect it. I did have to zero the tool and did it with just my hands and no tools. You will need to take care not to beat it up or bang it around but this will last forever and I've never seen the click type last forever and the digital wrenches will fail to eventually. This may not be accurate enough for aircraft or applications of that nature but is plenty accurate for a dyi'er like myself.

I needed a beam torque wrench on a budget engine building project (to measure engine resistance when rotating the crankshaft). I'm not sure exactly how precise this is but it's really useful when you need to see how much force you're applying while you're tightening a bolt rather than waiting for the click or beep of a regular torque wrench. Mine arrived in good condition with a nice case. I'm happy with this purchase.

I was very delighted that this torque spanner was shipped from the US all the way to East Malaysia in only 7 days. :)I give this product a 5 star because it is all a torque spanner should be: highly accurate and precise, ruggedly dependable and easy to calibrate albeit it requires good hand-eye coordination to master.My only complaint was that the pointer and the handle should be manufactured with high quality metal injection instead of some cheap and nasty looking plastic for aesthetics value and justifications of its premium price.I do have high hope that this torque spanner will last and stays calibrated for a very long time with prolonged use and proper care.Lastly, id like to say thank you very much amazon for your efforts.

Simple to use. If you do work on your car, it’s a must have.

Needed this smaller sized wrench due to working space limits. Checked accuracy against another larger torque wrench that clicks when setting is reached. The spec I was concerned with was 30 ft lbs. They both matched at 30 foot pounds exactly.

The only problem I have with this purchase is that the torque wrench was used. This is by no means a new item. Its covered in oily fingerprints, the package is faded as if it were sitting out in the sun for days and has marks and dirt all over it. I will be replacing for a NEW unit, as that is what I paid for.UPDATE. So I just received my second torque wrench today. This one is also used, while slightly cleaner. I will be returning and purchasing elsewhere.

1 star cause they should of added on there label/information that its used, they should of least took there time and clean the tool and tool case, came in all greasy and told looking like it was thrown an kicked around in the dirt
