Hill's Science Diet Adult 7+ Wet Dog Food

Recent change in my dogs diet after major surgery. We eased her into Hills and she loves it. The price is spendy, but no more costly than taking care of a human child!

This wet food is amazing. My dog Apollo loves it more than most others. It has solid chunks of beef inside, with all the veggies (Peas, and carrot). It also has a good amount of rice. He truly has maintained “perfect” weight. He loves it so he always finishes his meal. He hasn’t gained more than 1.5 pounds since i’ve been feeding him this. And of course hasn’t lost any either. Great Product!

Our vet prescribed this dog food, along with the chicken flavor, a couple of years ago after my dog had bladder stones and surgery. Apparently lots of dog food has ingredients that facilitate the development of bladder stones, which are not really common. She loved the food, both flavors, but after a while I determined I could not afford this canned food forever, at $2.68 per can. We changed to another Hill's Science Diet canned food that was 18cents per can cheaper. My pup has liked it OK but seemed to be burnt out on it recently so I searched the internet for the originally prescribed Hill's, hoping to find a better price than at the vet's. Was thrilled to find the Beef and Vegetables Stew flavor at Amazon at a considerably less price, especially taking advantage of Subscribe and save. We are both very happy!!

My dog loves this food. I use it as a supplement to kibble for my boxer. I like it because it looks and smells like human beef stew. I can't stand dishing out most canned dog food.

My 14 year old springer has been a picky eater since we great got him, but he got to the point he wouldn’t eat his dry food, so he put him in soft kibble and eventually he stopped saying that as well. I tried multiple foods, he’d start off ok then back to just pushing it with his nose and whining. I tried FreshPet, and he lost too much weight, tried a different canned food that was pate/mushy and it gave him gas. This Hill’s Science food is perfect. He doesn’t even beg at dinner if he has food in his bowl. He absolutely loves it. No tummy aches, no weight loss, no weight gain. The only thing I wish was different was that it came in packs of 14 instead of 12. I order 2 packs at a time, he gets 2 cans a day. That gives him 6 days from each pack instead of a full week. So towards the end of the second pack I have to go buy 2 extra cans from the store until the next auto ship arrives.

My dog absolutely LOVES this stuff. He has a vocabulary of a few words, and "stew" being his favorite (other than "walk"). He knows that "stew" means he is getting this stuff = happy dog. My labradoodle has been eating this with a scoop of Hill's Science crunchy kibble his whole life and even though we've tried a couple other things here and there, this is really the only thing he loves. We have a subscription setup to send us a case/month and the price is significantly better than the giant pet store in town. Big win!

Science Hills makes quality food, my dog is very fussy and has had diarrhea on and off for the last 3 months. So far, so good with this food. Having an all beef formula I am hoping is the answer. My dog is going on 13 and suddenly started having issues. She is always waiting for her meals & eats it all down when presented to her! Just wish I could get this in a small kibble form.
