Liquid Lip Colour Super Stay Vinyl Ink Long-Lasting 35 Cheeky

My new go to lip product!!! Cannot recommend enough! They are easy to apply, they stay on all day and are hydrating which is fantastic for a stain lip product. The product is lightweight on your lips, with a glossy texture at first, then once it dries there is no transfer and no crumbling, just slowly wears off over a number of hours.

My favourite lip product ever! the formula is amazing, it stays on for hours even when eating and drinking. The finish is perfect an amazing vinyl gloss finish but with a matte effect. This colour is the best natural pink too.

Doesn't last as long as the matt super stay lipsticks but still really good. A tiny bit sticky and a couple of the colours where lighter than I thought they'd be, but I will still pick up some more shades for the summer :)

I used to use this lipstick's predecessor, 24 Hour Liquid Lipstick, which had the lip colour on one end and a lip balm on the other end (I reviewed that product previously). That was longwearing but the lip balm part was unsatisfactory as it didn't moisturise and lips felt a lot drier, and a bit of a faff to use. This new Vinyl Ink liquid lipstick line however, is clearly an improvement. To apply, I shake the lipstick thoroughly - at least 10 seconds. Then I apply - I don't really care for the instructions saying to apply a thin layer - I just apply as much as necessary to create the coverage and colour intensity I need. Then I wait at least 20 mins before eating or drinking. Watch for tiny flakes of it transferring to your teeth - it can and it will, but wiping that off is easy. It feels sticky all the time afterwards, but that stickiness is actually a protective layer which reduces lip dryness over long periods effectively, so for naturally dry lips like mine, they no longer require a lip balm application over this lipstick to feel hydrated. Not having to reapply lip balm when I wear lipstick is such a relief. Maybelline, you've done well here! It is longwearing. For example today, it has withstood me eating a crumbly, creamy blackberry tart, drinking a mug of hot, creamy chicken and vegetable soup, 2 slices of pizza, and a rhubarb crumble, as well as glasses of water and juice. A little strip on my bottom lip, the part next to the opening of my mouth, did fade after 6 hours of wear and all the food and drink. Thankfully, reapplication only to the faded part was so quick and simple. I just painted on a bit of lipstick where it faded. I didn't need to remove all the lipstick and repaint the entire mouth. The repainted bit also dried in no time at all and was good as new. A bit of the lipstick does transfer onto mugs, but despite the little bit of transfer, lipstick still looks as good as new, so it didn't really affect my appearance. It's really more of a lip paint than a lipstick - it goes on like a lacquer really, I'd say it's a bit like painting on nail polish. There's a sheen to it. There's absolutely no need for any lip pencils. The sharp tip of the applicator is good enough for both lining and filling in the lips. There is a strong vanilla fragrance as well, but after the lipstick dries, the fragrance disappears. There is a sweet-ish taste to the product if I lick my lips before the 20 mins drying time I allow it is up. After that though, I can't taste anything of the lipstick at all. So I'd say if you can still taste it, it probably isn't that dry yet. If you wait it's properly dry before eating and drinking, then it would be pretty longwearing I guess. The great thing is that after reapplication, the lips feel hydrated again. So really, the product itself is hydrating. If it has worn off a bit, I can feel my lips getting drier. So to stop this, I just reapply on the drier areas (usually the area at the opening of my mouth where food and drink has touched). And I've never felt the need to reapply more than once in 5 hours or so. It's super. To be honest, many longlasting lipsticks are going to have a drying effect on the lips, due to the main chemical responsible for the longlasting effect - Isododecane. This is no exception, but I can tell you it's a lot more moisturising than other longstay lipsticks I have (which are mostly matte). I do think the colour range can seem a bit limited for darker skin tones, but if you have fair to medium skin tone, these will be quite a good selection of colours. I advise trying on the colours in a shop if you can before blindbuying, because the swatches on the models shown here aren't that accurate, and the colour of the lipstick tube definitely doesn't look very much like how the colour appears on your lips. I bought the shade Keen 125, and I did blind buy for this one although I watched some videos of girls in my skin tone trying it and though it might be okay for me. I got lucky and yes this turned out fine. I'm tempted to get the other colours now because I love this. Am going to ditch all the Maybelline 24 Hour Liquid Lipsticks I used to own for this product from now on 😄 On me, Keen is like a coral red, while Peppy is very much an MLBB rosewood colour on me. I am still collecting more. Really in love with these Maybelline Superstay Vinyl lipsticks as well as the Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink lipsticks (I have 4). The difference between these is just in the finish. The Matte Ink look more opaque in colour, although not totally matte. The Vinyl looks more glossy. Both are very longlasting and last through meals, and much more protective of the moisture barrier on my lips than any lipbalms or lip glosses would.

I bought this lipstick after my usual Dior ran out and I couldn't face spending almost fifty pounds replacing it. The shade Captivated is pretty much the perfect beige but I do not like the way it feels on my lips at all. Hours after I have applied it it still feels slightly tacky and unpleasant It has stayed on well throughout a couple of cups of coffee and my lunch. It is a good value product but I can't wait to take it off.

Best lipstick ever, gorgeous colours, I have the whole range. A tad sticky but you get used to it. Last literally all day, with eating and drinking. As you would expect a maybeline lipstick. And the added bonus of a shine. I love it.

This product is absolutely brilliant—especially this particular shade! It complements almost any skin tone and is impressively long-lasting. Any cracks, bumps, or imperfections will be highlighted by this lip lacquer, so prep is key for that flawless finish. From my experience, it lasts around 6 to 8 hours before fully wearing off, which is fantastic for long days or nights out. When drinking, you might notice some mild staining on straws or glass rims, but don’t worry—that’s just the outer layer of the lacquer coming off. It’s the same bit that would come off when you lick your lips, so it won’t affect the look at all. It's not the product wearing off; it’s just the surface layer, and your lips will still look flawless! Once the product has fully dried down, you can even add extra lip liner around the edges without disturbing the lacquer, making it super easy to sharpen up your look. Another bonus? If you make any mistakes while applying, it's easy to clean up the edges while it's still wet, making precision and touch-ups a breeze. Overall, it’s an amazing product that’s perfect for anyone looking for a reliable, long-lasting lip colour.

Se cercate una tinta labbra che sia no-transfer, non è questo il caso. È un rossetto abbastanza durevole,dal finish semilucido, un po' appiccicoso dopo l'applicazione. Non secca le labbra. Se mangiate, dovrete riapplicarlo o comunque ritoccarlo. Si rimuove facilmente con lo struccante. Nel complesso a me piace e l'ho ricomprato. 😊

Ich wende das Produkt wie folgt an: Ich trage den Lippenstift (bei relativ weit geöffnetem Mund, geht bei mir so am einfachsten) auf und warte dann, bis er komplett getrocknet ist. Geht schneller, wenn man sich Luft zufächelt. Dann presse ich leicht Ober- und Unterlippe zusammen, weil ich mir einbilde, die Farbe so besser in die Haut zu drücken, und trage die komplette obere Schicht schließlich ab, indem ich etwas Klopapier zwischen den Lippen einklemme. Das mache ich zwei Mal. Das, was am Ende als Farbe auf den Lippen übrigbleibt, hält tatsächlich stundenlang und wird auch kaum blasser! Selbst nach dem Essen einer fettigen Fischdose waren meine Lippen trotz ein bisschen Farbverlust (an der Gabel sichtbar) noch deutlich geschminkt. Tatsächlich kann sich trotz ölhaltiger Reinigungsmittel das Abschminken des Lippenstifts als schwierig erweisen und ich habe manchmal auch nach dem Abschminken noch etwas Farbe auf Handtüchern u. Ä., wenn ich über die Lippen wische. Ich benutze normalerweise nur Lippentints, weil Lippenstifte bei mir üblicherweise nach 20 Minuten bereits vollständig "aufgegessen" sind und flüssiger Lippenstift zwar etwas besser hält, aber meine Lippen durch das matte Runtertrocknen äußerst faltig und alt aussehen lassen. Dieser flüssige Lippenstift hat immer einen leichten Glanz, der meine Lippen frisch und - von der Farbe abgesehen - natürlich aussehen lässt. Feuchtigkeit spendet das nicht, aber es trocknet die Lippen auch nicht aus und man kann gefahrlos einen Pflegestift oder Gloss darüber tragen. Als einzigen Kritikpunkt möchte ich anführen, dass diese Lippenfarbe sehr klebrig ist, und diese Klebrigkeit verschwindet auch nach der Aktion mit dem Klopapier nicht. Ich habe mich aber daran gewöhnt und empfinde es sogar als ein bisschen praktisch - solang ich diese leichte Klebrigkeit spüre, habe ich auch ohne Spiegel eine Garantie dafür, dass die Lippenfarbe nach wie vor hält. Man hinterlässt beim Trinken und am Besteck zwar immer wieder mal kleine Farbreste, was aber an der Farbintensität auf den Lippen nichts ändert. Für mich übertrifft dieses Produkt meine Erwartungen und ich benutze es gern im Alltag, wenn ich was Intensiveres als Lippentints tragen möchte. Werde mir auch noch weitere Farben kaufen, habe bislang 35 und 20 und finde sie beide sehr schön. Solang es dieses Produkt gibt, kann ich auf Experimente mit anderen Liquid Lipsticks verzichten.

Super nawilżająca szminka, błyszczyk kolor to kwestia gustu dla mnie idealny. Konsystencja bardzo fajna.
