Me Grimlock King!
Transformers: The Last Knight figures are here, and with them comes the Dinobot commander Grimlock. One thing to note is that this figure is the same mold as was seen in the Transformers: Age of Extinction line but features a brand new color scheme in both plastic and paint that much more closely represents how Grimlock was depicted in the Transformers films. Overall I'm very pleased with the figure. In beast mode, he is a detailed gray and black robot T-Rex that features a chomping jaw gimmick. In robot mode, Grimlock stands tall resembling a robot knight with wild, beastly details. The transformation is fairly simple but works very well and is fun to shift between modes. My two minor gripes would be that in robot mode, he is back heavy, making him a bit hard to stand up in certain poses with his thin legs. In beast mode this is not a problem, as those huge T-Rex feet keep him very stable. The other gripe is that his robot hands have peg holes rather than being open which means he can't properly grab his spiky mace weapon by the shaft, but rather by a peg that sticks off to the side. Not huge issues, but would have been cool if they were resolved. Overall, I'm a big fan of what they've done with Grimlock here and he gets to stand proudly with my other Transformers movie figures. If you don't already have a movie Grimlock, I'd say get this one, as he is the best representation of the character so far.

New paint
I don't have any of the Dinobots so the bayformers have to do and to be honest I really like the new paint it has. A bit pricey for a voyager figure. It will go down on price eventually.

Great toy for older kids
This toy looks really nice. However it is hard to change up. Very confusing. Well made.

Definite Improvement
Much better than the Grimlock we got from Age of Extinction. This is the Grimlock we should have had then. Me Grimlock happy.
