This rack is surprisingly sturdy! It is metal bars, plastic corner fasteners. As tall as it is, it stands perfectly balance, even with every level filled with shoes. It holds 20 pairs...I cannot recommend it enough! Solves a problem for me, as I store off-season clothing in bins in the bottom of my closet, so can't put shoes there. I live in a very small house (700 sq. ft.) and this really helps me with keeping my bedroom organized. Great product, great price!

I purchased the SONGMICS 10-Tier Shoe Rack to organize the growing collection of shoes in my closet, and it has been a great addition. The metal frame feels sturdy and stable, even when fully loaded, and the narrow design makes excellent use of vertical space without taking up much floor area. Assembly was straightforward and took less than 30 minutes. The shelves are spacious enough to accommodate various types of footwear, including sneakers, dress shoes, and sandals. I was able to fit far more pairs than I expected, and the open design makes it easy to see and access everything at a glance. The rack has helped eliminate clutter and made my closet look much more organized. While it's lightweight enough to move if needed, it remains solid and doesn't wobble during everyday use. It was great!! Easy to fix and didn’t take up so much space. It’s almost my height and I’m 5’8. The spaces can be manipulated to fit taller shoes.

Shelf is tall and narrow so it fits in small spaces. The shelf holds 2 pairs of shoes on each shelf if you lay them flat out. I like how there’s a Matt to set them on instead of just bars. It’s sturdy enough. Looks nice in open spaces.

I almost never write reviews. Yet I really love this shelf. It’s so smart. It takes a tiny amount of space and can be built to the exact height you need by combining more than one set. I bought two. I have a sloped ceiling so I took it all the way up to the ceiling and put a few extra shelves down in front with less frequently used shoes in back. I used some of the shelves for a compact shoe each by the front door. It’s easy to assemble (a little time consuming so I just worked a little while I did it). It fits two shoe boxes or 3 pairs of women's shoes on each shelf. I put it next to less frequently used clothes. Amazing.

This rack is great. Simple to assemble, sturdy, and holds 15 pairs of my large wide shoes and sneakers. If you have smaller narrower feet it probably would hold 20 pairs. Also comes with two straps for securing to wall to keep the kiddies safe.

I hate putting shelving together. I can honestly say that putting these particular shelves together was effortless. I put the first tier together and then had my nine year old twin boys complete most of it. I purchased two. I simply made sure each section was pushed in tightly. I use this shelf exclusively for high heeled shoes. The non-woven fabric is not ideal for stiletto or any non-flat shoe. The fabric has some give, which means high heels will be a bit wobbly and once in place you live in fear of someone bumping into the shelf and causing one or more to tip over. I knew that it was a fabric shelf but assumed since it was a 'shoe shelf' that the fabric would be extremely taut. This is not the case. When viewing the photos of high heeled shoes on the rack posted by other reviewers it did not 'appear' to be an issue. Trust me, it's an issue. My shoes look beautiful on the shelf, but are not nearly as stable as my prior shoe shelf and some had to be very carefully positioned to stay up at all. Each shelf really needs some type of insert inside the fabric for stability so it can be used for high heeled shoes. I can say that the height between shelves was perfect and comfortably held shoes of 4+ inches tall. This shelf would not hold the sky high 5 and 6 inch heels. Luckily, I don't own any that are much higher than 4 inches. The connectors, though clear, are a tad unsightly in that they don't seem to blend in. Be aware that I was not expecting a high end shelf, I just think this is not a shelf that most women are going to be happy with in the end. I can easily see this being a much better choice for a boyfriend/husband gift to allow him to display a gym shoe collection as the non-woven fabric would pose no issue for that type of shoe. It also has a bit of a locker room look and feel about it. Overall, I can't say it's a bad shelf. It was inexpensive, holds a lot of shoes and was easy to assemble. I just think ladies should beware that the pictures are a bit deceiving if you are using this for heels instead of flats. I would not recommend it for your high heeled shoe collection. I wrote this review expressly to warn other women who wish to use it for that purpose as I am now on the lookout for something better and will only keep this long enough to justify the purchase and then give it to a male friend.
