I have had several watch winders in the past. This is by far the most elegant piece I have owned. It is extremely quiet and smooth.I did have an issue with a broken gear in the electric motor. The seller, FairBasic, replaced my winder. Their customer service is excellent and my new winder is perfect. I will use this provider again.

This Kranich unit replaces my worn out winder and it keeps my watches properly winded.

Worked great but stopped working after 9 months. No apparent warranty. Very disappointed. Have contacted the company for a replacement. Will update review depending on response.Update: Company responded to inquiry promptly and courteously. Has offered to replace defective unit. I have added two stars to original review based on their response. Will update review once again when replacement unit has been received and I know it’s working properly. Looks very nice and does its job well. However, it didn't take long before it stopped rotating. The fix is easy, I usually just unplug it, rotate it manually a few times, plug it back in and turn it on again. But the amount of times I have to do this is pretty frequent. That being said, it is very cheap so I won't complain too much since it still does work.

Bought this in April, 2022 and had it plugged in all the time. It did keep my watches wound and was pretty quiet. It just crapped out as of last night (12/23/23). I woke up to a loud grinding noise only to find out that power was being delivered but stopped rotating. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN! Even for $60, it should have lasted longer.
