The material on the outside had some white marks; however, I was able to clean them off and set them on the lamps targeted for this purchase. I was hoping I didn't have to return for what I thought was a flaw. Worked out A-ok. The description initially stated the word "mounted", which to me described on the wall. After reading reviews, determined lamps were described so I went ahead and ordered.

It was smaller that I thought, even though I measured it. For the convenience of ordering the color and style on Amazon, it was worth it. Both color and style were as pictured. However, I would have bought a larger one if I had been shopping in person. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.
