L'Oréal Professionnel Paris Metal Detox Shampoo – For Hair Repair

This shampoo has made a big difference in softening my hair and making it look fuller. I have extremely hard water and I've tried several products, and this one seems to be working. The order came In at a timely manner without leaking it was packaged very well. I have gotten other things that were liquid and leaked but this was packaged with extra padding on top and bottom inside the box. Maybe a little bit more expensive than I would like to buy this amount of shampoo in a bottle, however, it seems to work as described here on Amazon. The color of the shampoo is a pearlish white and did not affect any highlights I have in my hair. And it did lather up pretty good and only had to wash my hair one time, so that will save on some use of the shampoo. I would recommend and I will buy again.

I’ve been really impressed with this shampoo. My hair is color-treated, and I wanted something that would give it a deeper clean without leaving it feeling dry or stripped. This does exactly that. My hair feels noticeably cleaner, softer, and smoother after washing, and it still feels moisturized and manageable. A little goes a long way, it lathers really well, and I love how my hair feels afterward. I especially like using it as part of my routine to help remove buildup while still being gentle on my color-treated hair. It’s definitely more expensive than a regular shampoo, but for the quality and how my hair feels after using it, I think it’s worth it. I would absolutely purchase it again!

One of the best shampoos I have ever used. It did "lighten" my hair (so to speak) by removing metal/hard water and product build up. I did not find it to be drying or stripping at all. I can brush through my hair after using this, even if I didn't use a conditioner. This also gets my hair clean to a level where I feel like my "oily hair" problems are no longer an issue. It's rich and lathers extremely well. A little truly does go a long way. It's expensive, but worth it (especially for those with gray hair that tends to turn yellow from hard water). If you have color treated hair, you may want to avoid this shampoo (it might fade your color).

I bought this salon shampoo because my water has a lot of metals and it was making my blonde hair feel dry. I use it about once a month with my regular shampoo and it has helped improve dryness and overall hair health over time. It feels moisturizing without stripping my hair and the thickness is good so it lathers easily and a small amount goes a long way which helps with volume. I also have not had any issues with leakage from the bottle. The ingredients feel more salon quality and my hair feels healthier and my color looks a bit more even and less dull after using it. Overall it is more of a maintenance product than an instant fix but it works well for hard water care.

This is a great purchase if you’re worried your hair has stains in from water. It smells great and a little goes a long way with this stuff! I have blonde hair and sometimes feel like my older pipes give it a bit of a reddish tint so I use this once a month. I’d also recommend getting a water filter if you’re still worried about minerals from water/pipes.

I wanted to color my hair a dark brown/red, which I've done before. I have thick curly, coarse hair. My hair is, I mean, was, crunchy and kind of fried looking. So, I was researching on things to do to prep my hair so it looks good, and will hold the color. I ran across an article talking about issues from hard water in your hair. That led me to this. L'Oreal is a very common brand in my house, so I was already comfortable with the product. The difference in look and feel is astounding. I could literally be a hair model right now. My hair has never, in my entire life, been shiny, unless I flat iron it. It's shiny, and curly, and feels amazing. We do have very hard water, as most places in the US do. It smells really nice. It's not an overpowering super perfumey smell. It's just nice. The description says citrus, but it's a deeper scent than that. Almost a spice type scent, but not the kind that will trigger a migraine :) It does not take much. Imagine how much shampoo you normally use, then picture half of that. Now use less than that on your hair. The lather is thick, and very rich. Remember, if you don't think that's enough, you can always add a little more. But I used the amount I normally use to shampoo my hair and it took 5 minutes to rinse it all out! Actually 5 minutes. I did not use conditioner the first time, as I was coloring the next day. But I have since, and all the things I mentioned about my hair after? Amplify that. Super soft, almost slick, shiny and very manageable. If you think you need something like this, then you probably do. Get it!

I cannot even believe how great this shampoo is! Lot’s to say. First of all, it doesn’t take a ton, I have long hair, and it suds up very nicely and feels clean when using. The smell is of a light citrus scent and it washes out smoothly with no tangling and no hair loss like my other brand was doing. I never thought that it would be a shampoo I’d been using thinking that it was normal hair loss. But it was a ton of hair loss. I comb my hair before I shower to help with tangles and after I was done washing, a really small amount of hair in the basket and my hair was still smooth and very clean feeling. I also used the hard water mask that L’Oréal recommended an only had to use a small amount, unlike my other mask and ran a comb through it. It didn’t even need that because there was no tangles to comb out! I left it on while I was shaving and then rinsed it out and my hair was even softer. No heavy residue left or heavy scent. I then used their leave in conditioner and put on the ends. Not much needed and it combed out perfectly! The scent of the leave in is a bit heavier than the shampoo and mask and using the three together has made a huge difference. I wash every 3 to four days depending and it doesn’t loose its shine or feel and doesn’t buildup. I have had the best luck finding great things from Amazon and I love the information given on items and reading through the reviews. I wear my hair in a high pony for yoga and this product leaves no frizz and no dryness and feels like it’s been washed and cut by the salon. I really hope that this helps you with your decision. It’s absolutely the best and I’m never going back.

Simply a miracle! I have been struggling with dry, frizzy, brittle hair for YEARS. I have spent so much money on Keratin treatments and other products, only to find that nothing was helping. Come to find out, it is my hard water. How am I just learning about this? I discovered an article online that mentioned this product to help deal with the mineral buildup. I did not hesitate to buy this shampoo along with the conditioning mask and oil to see if it would make a difference. It arrived today and I immediately got to work on my hair and my daughter's as well. I simply cannot believe the effect. Both of us have struggled with a waxy buildup that we could not get rid of. This shampoo removed all of that and left our hair shiny and full. We did also use the conditioning mask which I believe makes a big difference. I am so thankful for this product because I was at my wit's end with our hair. Do not hesitate to try this product, although expensive. It will be worth it I promise you. Until I get a soft water system in my house this is a must in my shower. Also I am very sensitive to perfumes and I do not like a lot of strong scents. This shampoo (and conditioner) was slightly fragrant but pleasant and left me feeling like I visited the salon.
