Awesome!
Product arrived quickly along with the sim adapters as indicated. I didn't have any of the issues that other buyers seemed to have. I had a T-Mobile micro-sim that I need to punch to nano for my iPhone 5. There are no directions included and you don't need them as this device is extremely self explanatory. It punched out my sim PERFECTLY!!!!Some reviewers talk about having to sand or file out your sim but I didn't need to do any of that. I guess it might depend on who your sim is from (or how anal you are) but a T-Mobile sim is only very very slightly thicker than a nano and it will fit in your iPhone without having to sand down.My tips for a perfect cut would be as follows:1) If you are punching a micro-sim you may need to move it around in the puncher slightly so that the gold part is completely showing through. You should't have to do this if you're punching a standard sim.2) Place the puncher on a hard surface3) Push down hard and quickly. This will eliminate any rough edges and ensure a perfect cut the 1st time. The puncher is sturdy and can handle it. Other reviews who had to sand the edges probably did not punch quickly or hard enough.Oh I also used the nano to standard sim adapter and it worked awesome as well!!

Works great for me.
I need to work over sea from time to time and Apple just switch from mico sim to nano sim on me so all of my over sea sim card dont work on my iphone 5.Was a little worry at first with some of the bad reviews, but it seems like this is the only way.I cut 3 sim cards and they all work fineThe sim card will be a little thick but I just use a sand paper and file it down a littleJust 2 run on the sand paper will do.iphone 5 read all 3 cut sim card with out any trouble(1 sim card had me worry since the sim area <metal reading area> are bigger, but it work out fine)Before this I had go on internet and print out a "how to cut your sim card" thing and try to cut it my self but it messup. So this is pretty good and will do the job!

Just Works
I successfully cut three full size sims to fit Apple's new iPhone 5s. The cutter has a basic finish (its not a show piece like the iPhone or even a Craftsman tool) but does its job. I have two cautions. The sim slot on the cutter is for a full size sim card so if you would like to cut a micro sim (iPhone 4/4s for example), it won't work. The other caution is that on some older full size sim cards (I had one) the gold working area is actually bigger than the nano sim so when cut, it won't work (at least mine didn't) since some parts of the "electronics" is cut off. The big benefit in using this cutter is that you can use other providers cards (H2O and Straight Talk for example) and save a kings ransom over the robbery plans offered by the carrier oligopoly.

Does the job - Cuts SIM cards
Have been using this for a while. It's simple, it cuts SIM cards.. doesn't look nice, has rough edges and looks like something that is mass produced cheaply. However, as a tool*, it does the job. I was so satisfied that I've purchased multiple of these and have not had any issues since. Just make sure you place you SIM card correctly, there is an engraved image of how the SIM card should be placed and the hole where the cut SIM comes out of also indicates how you should be cutting your SIM.*** TIP: Sometimes the SIM card moves around the space inside the hole when you have it inside so you need to lightly press the cutter and use the pressure to secure the SIM card just right so you can cut it correctly, otherwise even a slight movement can cause you to ruin your SIM. This cutter has cut small slivers off my SIMs Gold contact off but they all seem to work just fine regardless of this (the chip in a SIM card is in the center part of it, the edge contacts don't matter much). ***Overall, 5 stars.

ALL You Need for Your iPhone 3GS+4+4s+5 Swappability
There are MASS QUANTITIES of these devices being offered. Most are probably made by the same prime manufacturer in China. This review covers the item, boxed, and kitted with TWO SIM adapters in the thin cardboard carton. Identification reads "Nano-SIM cutter for iPhone5 - including 1 pcs cutter 2 pcs adapters". THESE adapters make a big difference in your conversion satisfaction. Many of the SIM adapter inserts are made of a thin clear or blackened plastic with a very thin translucent poly film covering one side. The two adapters included in THIS kit (one for Nano-to-Micro and one for Nano-to-Mini sized SIM) both have rectangular holes in the center. These are critical if you do not cut and "shave" your SIM card precisely! The holes offer a bit of relief so when you insert the card, there is less pressure on the cut SIM; the extra pressure would cause the SIM to warp slightly, making extraction very difficult or impossible in the future.Speaking of shaving: you MUST get yourself a nail file tool like the six-surface ones sold by mall beauty supply shops. Costs about five bucks. You need three surfaces: mid-rough, very fine, and polish. You must shave down the cut Namo-SIM till the info is gone completely, then shave another pass. Carefully use the fine grit to smooth the SIM and place a gentle chamfer to round out the surface. THEN you MUST use the rubber polish edge to round out all TEN edges of the card so it feels buttery smooth. YES, you must smooth down the golden finger edges, too, for best results. THEN, use the fine filing surface to run a few gentle passes over the SIM adapter, particularly the leading edge (on exit). Polish this smooth also with the rubbery file surface. After you are done, wipe down your SIM and adapter with a slightly alcohol-moistened microfiber cloth to clean off all your dust and finger oils. The CUTTING TOOL is a work of art in its practical simplicity. You slide the big Mini-SIM directly into the slot. If it's a Micro-SIM, they have included a tiny metal frame for you to place the Micro-SIM; then you slide it into the same slot in front of the cutter. I suggest you hold the front of the assembly in towards the cutter body with a soda straw or your finger if you are brave. Then press down firmly to make the cut. My cutter arrived slightly out of alignment due to the feeble cushioning (none) in the shipping envelope. I easily straightened it and added a few tiny globs of Teflon silicone grease on the contact surfaces and main spring. Smooth as steel butter!Patiently apply the prep tips above for maximum ease of transition into your hot new iPhone-5. Enjoy!
