When I bought the Cawabon it had only three reviews, and now mine will make it #11, all 5 star. My primary reason for buying a cold brew maker was to reduce the acidity of the coffee. I like the taste of a really strong coffee, but my stomach isn't happy with the results. I chose this particular coffee maker because of the clean lines and absence of a handle, which would take up more room in my refrigerator. I also liked the silicone grip. I am extremely satisfied on all fronts. This product is beautifully made and packaged. It feels really sturdy, and as promised, the filter is very easy to clean. I am still playing around with the coarseness of the grind and trying different coffees, but I haven't had a disappointment yet. When I added already ground fine Turkish coffee to my blend (I love the taste) I did have some sludge in the bottom. I simply poured the whole carafe through a fine mesh strainer into a large measuring cup, swished out the carafe, and poured the coffee back in. No sludge and plenty of taste. Since then, I tried putting the Turkish coffee into a Tea-Sac (like a long, empty tea bag that I had on hand), and the results were even better. I couldn't be happier and neither could my stomach!

Don't drink coffee, so no idea.The correction I need to make was to get the silicon grip higher on the container. It says to fill to 4cups, but he grip centers on that line. It moved up reasonably easy, just roll it up and then flatten back out (will not slide - silicon on glass) - I also think this is a better location for carring/filling, though for pouring, it is obviously a littel heavier to the back..not really an issue though.Aside from that, I put it on the scale, weigh in the 10g of tea leaves it says to use, pour to 4cup mark, 12hrs later, tea. They call it consentrated tea, which it really isn't. But I use primiarly to add some flavor to water I drink during the day, so I do dilute it. Or, I would need some sugar.

This carafe is perfect! If you are looking for a cool unique unisex money saving gift - this is it! I was impressed by the packaging when this coffee maker arrived! Heavy duty box feels expensive and sturdy! I was almost intrigued by its looks! When I finally decided to open it I found two silicone coasters. So sweet!The instructions are very clear and make you feel comfortable using this brewer right off the bat! I follow the instructions and cold brew coffee comes out so perfect every time! So easy to use, so tasty to sip. I add half and half into mine and it is a perfection.Here is how I save money! I get a bag of coarse grind coffee at costco for about $11 for 900grams bag. Come home and brew my coffee in this amazing and sexy looking carafe.When you do math the cost per glass comes out to be just 30 cents!!!! That is about 13 times cheaper than Starbucks cold brew that is about $4 per cup!It looks cool in my fridge and on my counter! Great rubber seal around the cap and comfy grip around the neck of the brewer. Great design!This is that perfect unique and useful gift to yourself or anyone who loooooves coffee :)

This is a great product! I've been using this cold brew coffee maker only for a couple of days but I totally love the coffee it makes. It is strong and smooth, and even somehow sweet so that I don't need to add as much sugar as I used to. Also, this cold brewer is just beautiful, it looks cool in my kitchen and I love the quality. The filter keeps coffee grounds inside and they don't leak into coffee. But it is really necessary to get the most coarse grind possible as at the beginning I used medium-coarse grind and I saw some particles in the coffee concentrate. But after steeping for 24h all these particles went down and the coffee in my cup was clear and without any sludge.

This item is excellent. I purchased some special cold brew coffee grounds to go along with it, and must say it saves me a good bit of money from going to Starbucks everyday. I gave this item five stars because it works exactly as it should and is a terrific product. One drawback that should be noted is that it will not fit the Starbucks cold brew bags, or the amount of water required. This will be much better suited for actual ground coffee.

Love this cold coffee brewer! Have been using several months - coffee is less bitter than drip coffee maker, and I get less acid reflux with the cold brew. Easy to clean, easy to make coffee (I let mine steep 24hrs typically). “Inspired Coffee Co” on Amazon has a coarse ground coffee for cold brewers and there is no sludge at all at bottom of carafe

I am not too sure about this product. I started brewing my coffee and I had to re-do them multiple times because the grounded coffee keeps going into the water when I pour water in. Also the silicon top doesn't close all the way in, and can be lifted very easily, meaning it does not seal tightly. After bbrewing our family can see, taste the coffee grounds. Also just in case you guys are wondering, I grounded my coffee bean coarsely.

So I didn't give it a full 5 star because it said it was sludge resistant and while it is reduced, it's still quite prominent. It's very easy to clean, absolutely no grinds get through. I like to make my brew with fresh course ground dark roast, I let it sit at room temperature for a day and then two days in the fridge. While I love the concept of keeping it stored in the beautiful glass vessel, it means I can't make more. I have to transfer it to another pitcher or tumbler so I may start brewing my next batch. One batch, I drink in about three days.The ice cube tray was a cute concept but with packaging and heat during shipping, the silicone because slightly crumbled and is now a bundle of wonky shakes versus cubes. Not the biggest deal. It's nice that is comes with a lid. The coasters are wonderful for keeping the glass vessel safe from sliding around.
