We ordered two different pair of these in this size. My kiddo is in size 7 clothes in general, and he’s a healthy weight, so with jeans he does have to have those elastic tabs in the waistband cinched down, but with elastic waist stuff we generally don’t have issues with the way they fit. These were incredibly loose; we could not cinch them down enough for him actually wear them.They are really cute and I love the anti-chafe lining, so we ordered two smaller pair and kept these for next year (or the year after, depending on how fast he grows).One caveat: the lining does make them a lot harder to take off after swimming!

These worked phenomenally all summer! They fit perfect and my boy loved them. They seemed much more comfortable than the usual swim trunks with the mesh lining.

My teen said these are very comfortable. Often bathing suits ride up or chafe inside. This is his favorite suit and it’s stylish also! I’ve washed it several times without problem and the lining stays in place. Great find!

My son was complaining that his name brand bathing suits were giving him a rash from the mesh. So I started looking for trunks with a soft liner and came across these. The price was better than what I am used to paying so I bought one pair to give them a shot. They are great! No rash and very comfortable. Very good quality. He is 9 years old, 70lbs, but skinny and tall. The size 8 fits perfectly. I agree with other reviews that they are on the shorter side…. They are not to his knee, you see some thigh. But he is tall so this always happens with shorts and pants for him. He has worn them about 10 times now and still great. They have been through the wash Atleast twice. They are the pair he consistently grabs first and likes the best. I’m happy I won’t be buying expensive bathing suits anymore. I just bought a second pair.
