The Island Escape: The laugh out loud romantic comedy you have to read this summer

This book was much more than a lighthearted summer read. The author has an amazing writing style, and a very insightful look into modern life and modern marriage. I laughed out loud several times and also felt tearful at times. It was far and above a "beach read"!

I discovered Kerry's Silent Wife first, since then, every book I've read, which is about 7, has not failed to captivate me. This book is no different. The characters are believable and you can see part of yourself them. I couldn't put it down but sad now it's over.

I usually manage to wade through to about 30% of even the worst books to give them a chance to get better before giving up on them. At 8% this one went in my Kindle bin. Truly awful boring rubbish.

I absolutely loved this book. Relateable, likable characters, an interesting and compelling story. As a reader I championed the protagonists's happiness. And such a wonderfully evocative book with regards to setting. Made me want to head back to the Mediterranean. Highly recommended.
