ACDelco Gold 17D1707CH Ceramic Rear Disc Brake Pad Set

I felt that it was time to change the brake pads and rotors on my 2015 GMC Sierra Crew Cab, after all it had 85k miles on the original pads and I do a good bit of towing. I feel confident using AC Delco products and the brake pads that I received were identical to the OEM pads on my vehicle. Installation was simple, and on the box that the pads come with they show you where to apply the brake silicone lubricant to prevent the braking components from squeaking. After installing these brake pads I’ve noticed more responsive braking and have absolutely no squeaking or grinding noises. I encourage you to look up a few YouTube videos to familiarize yourself with installing brake pads on your specific vehicle. It was the first time that I’ve changed my rotors and brake pads and the job was relatively easy if you have the right tools. I’m very satisfied with the price and performance of these AC Delco brake pads.

These brakes are a perfect fit for my 2015 Chev Surburban LTZ. Easy install, OEM performance, no noise. You'll need more brake pad lubrication grease as the little packet that comes with is barely enough to do one set of pads. Just be aware that there is an "inside and outside" pad for each caliper. The back of the pads are NOT the same and placing the pads in the wrong position can cause damage as the rivets on the back of the pads will interfere with the way the pads sit against the caliper piston or, in the case of the caliper side, the flat surface on the outside caliper itself. The previous dealer who installed pads in this vehicles installed both inside pads on the drivers side and both outside pads on the passenger side. Doing so caused the rivet on the pad to sit unevenly and not flat, as it rides on the caliper piston, until it wore a hole in the edge of the caliper piston plus the pad will not sit straight. There is one inside and outside pad for both drivers side and for the passenger side.

Installed rear pads on my 2017Yukon XL. 96k+ original miles on original pads so I went with OEM AC Delco again. Plenty of YouTube videos of change out on 2015-2020 models so that wasn’t an issue. Decided to paint the calipers Red while I was there. Hardest part was waiting for the paint to dry. Great product at a great price. Will definitely purchase again without hesitation.

When my Silverado needed brakes, I only wanted OEM parts due to the amount of towing I tend to do with the truck. I ordered these pads, along with Delco OE rotors. The pads came with new clips, as well as a packet of lubricant for the install. They were quick to wear in and have been very quiet. Made the brakes feel like they did when the truck was new! Happy with the purchase!

Have had these pads on my truck for a few months now and have put a few thousand miles on them, including a vacation into the mountains. ZERO complaints. No noise, no rumble, great stopping power, VERY little dust, if any. Would highly recommend these and will purchase again when the time is ready.

Installed pads today (2/11/24) on my Escalade ESV. Both sides took less than an hour…took for a test drive and no more squealing & stops great. Will give another update in about 6 months.
