Our largest area rug collection, the Oushak, develops the decorative schemes of late 19th century Turkish carpets. Most common in beige 8 x 10 living room rug sizes, they also come in oversized, and runner rugs. These rugs have large simplified, mostly abstract patterns in light tonalities featuring ivory, pale blue, rust, salmon and light green. The origin of Oushak patterns derives from Persia, but the rendition is strictly more modern and decorative. These carpets can be found in various color ways and in an almost infinite range of patterns suitable for every home.
