Better than regular design
The hole in the center is a live saver I can’t remove one of these that don’t have the hole and it’s been a struggle to get loose. This with the alloy wrench helps with that problem. They are small, very light, great price for pack, could be use for use photo or video application that need 1/4 male adapter and you have no more cold shoe slots.

Very nice for specifically needed uses

Exactly what I needed...just tough to remove without pliers.
I have a ring light at work that has a camera attachment or phone attachment. The problem is my Webcam and ring light both had female connections. I knew Amazon would have some solution and I found these. Good price...fit fine. The problem is both bases are stationary so it's hard to get both tight so eith the base or Webcam isn't rotating. Also...once it's in and tight...forgettaboutit. You're not unscrewing it without pliers ( which I don't have at my office) and I have strong hands/fingers. A hole through the center to be able to slide a key or allen wrench through would make these perfect. Overall...does what I need it to do and keeps my camera from falling over.

Great accessory for tripods and camera cages.
Needed these for my phone cage for independent video making. These are standard threads and do the job of creating additional mounting space or joining photo equipment. Work as intended. Handy to have around.

Great Fit
Many times im looking to adapt the camera to a tripod and I was missing this bit, they work as intended and the screw part isnt loss, its tight and holds the camera in place

Used to couple a webcam to the center of a ring light
I had a ring light with a screw hole and a webcam I wanted to connect. These worked out great. Though I wish the threaded parts were 1/4" to 1/2" longer. But that's not what these were designed to do and were the only cheap solution I could find. So yeah.. they're great!
