Love this for a studio pallette. Lightweight to pack,but pretty large.

I like it a lot. I wish it could separate into two separate pieces because I have a smaller area to paint but it’s excellent otherwise. I like that they got rid of a thumb hole and now there is another space for mixing.

I like this palette a lot. The large mixing area is great. The smaller mixing areas with a separator are good too; the separator isn't so big that you can't push a mix from one to another if you choose.

I saw this palette being used by one of my favorite YouTube painters. While it is nice to have 35 wells and large areas to mix colors, I am disappointed in some of the features. The edges are sharp! The edges are not turned and finished smoothly. The paint coating (black) was applied haphazardly on some areas I don’t know if she received a better quality of the palette, but it was the exact box, manufacturer, and style. At this time I don’t believe these defects will affect the durability of the palette, but I don’t know if rust might be a problem in the future. (It is supposed to be made of aluminum). I just hate paying for first quality and not receiving it.

A sturdy palette great for home studio or on the go.

While I am thrilled with the size....( no surprise for me, I read the listing completely and was aware of the size) I am disappointed with the craftmanship. Inside is not coated well. I read in a review that I am not the only one. .( The coating inside isn’t applied perfectly doesn’t affect its performance but not sure about longevity hence the 4 stars) I really don't want to send back because it is the size I want. It does have some dings that go from the black side into the white side from production. I really love the size so that is a plus!

I love it’s size as I have filled most of the wells. It’s sturdy and folds fairly thin but it’s quite large so probably best suited for leaving at home. If you’re looking for a great and sturdy watercolor palette with lots of wells and mixing room to leave at home then this is amazing.

I appreciate the option to have 35 Wells for watercolour paints. I would not recommend for any other use than at home as the paint can pop out easily. Handle with care so that this doesn’t happen but if it does, it’s easy to get them back into their well with a drop of water underneath and pop the paint back in place.

Creating a palette of your favorite watercolours, from many diffrent brands. Everyone knows all of one brand isnt the best. Find reviews from people who have loads of paint, which are there favorite. The enamel is wonderful, just like porcelian. Think long term and spend a little bit extra. You wont regret it !

The palette is HUGE. Could be good if you have the space Doesn't work for my purposes, because I was trying to use it in a Gurney style easel pad.. didn't realize aluminum wouldn't stick to magnets.

Holbein has changed their palettes to aluminum (from steel) and this is an exact copy of their No.200 palette. Side by side, identical. I paid $89 US!!! for the Holbein one!
