Q: Is this the fragrance free version?

I didn't notice any fragrance when I used it on my son last weekend, though neither of us are sensitive to fragrance if it was very mild.

Q: Does this leave the face white?

Hi Charleston mom-to-be.First of all, congrats! The answer is, probably yes. It is usually described as a tad granular (chalky), mainly transparent but with a white tinge. The two active ingredients are titanium oxide and zinc oxide. Both are naturally chalky. To diminish the whitening effect, many sunscreens use the nanoparticles to weaken the color. However, babyorganics deliberately avoids nanoparticles as they are deemed as potentially harmful to the baby. Hope this helps.HFB
