I had a Buckwheat pillow many years ago and now I've bought this one, I can't remember why I ever changed back to an ordinary pillow! I used it last night and it was the first really good nights sleep with no neck and head pain I've had for a long time.If you've been looking for a firm pillow that stays cool all night, try this you won't be disappointed. Plus the quality of the pillow case is excellent. So pleased I bought this.

The pillow is great, best night sleep in a while. However packaging could be better. The pillow case comes separate and you have to fill yourself. I rather enthusiastically opened the package only to spill all the hustle on the kitchen floor. Still once swept up and put in the case all was well.

I've owned several buckwheat pillows. Usually smaller ones. None of them had the terrible chemical smell that this buckwheat has. 3 weeks in and it is still really strong. I can't put my head on the pillow overnight without coughing after a while. It's unbearable.Also, the amount of buckwheat, which comes in a separate plastic bag, is nowhere near enough to fill the supplied pillow case. After an hour sleeping on it (When I tried to bear the smell), I ended up totally unsupported and the buckwheat had all shifted to the sides. Useless!

I love sleeping on these. Keeps head cool all night, supports head better than any other pillow i've ever had. Sure, the feels it's naturally different, but give it a shot. I'm glad I got it. Oh, also helps with any nose allergies at while sleeping.

Disappointed with the volume of buckwheat. Pillow very flat and unsupportive.

Good. Would be better if comes with a zip and pillowcase

This was a replacement for my old buckwheat pillow, as the husks had gradually broken down with age. My old one (from a different seller) came ready stuffed in a zippered pillowcase, with another separate pillowcase as well. When I opened the bag of this one, there was a pillow case plus another plastic bag, which obviously I assumed the actual pillow was in. However, when I pulled that bag open, there was an explosion of buckwheat husks everywhere as they were not contained in another pillowcase. My two dogs were going potty trying to lick them up and eat them - and I had to try to sweep up the remainder and shove them into the pillowcase. VERY DISAPPOINTED that it was dispatched like this without clear warning. Because of losing so many of the husks on opening the packaging, this pillow is nowhere near as full or as supportive as it should have been - hence affecting my sleep quality. Now I need to buy ANOTHER one ... needless to say I shall be purchasing from a different seller this time.
