The brace works well enough to stabilize an ACL sprain, but not as well as a custom brace would. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is comfort...the brace really digs in and and rubs if worn all day. I need to figure out what to wear under it to alleviate that problem. Otherwise it's a perfectly fine over-the-counter piece of equipment.

I have a long time knee injury which I think recently wore out my meniscus. I don’t feel like I have much stability on that leg, esprit after I hurt it. I’ve been wearing this over my pants otherwise it hurts, and it’s given be a lot more support snd has helped me a lot!
