Great trap!
I got two of these yesterday and installed them on a Home Depot bucket. Fit perfectly, and held very secure. I added two ramps, covered with sandpaper (to give the mice a better grip) and added an eye bolt to the end of the ramp. I installed a screw under the top of the ramp for the eye bolt. Now the ramp is held securely and comes off in a second or two when needed. I had to add a screw to the edge of one of the ramps, since it was a little off balance and wouldn't consistently return when pushed down into the bucket. I guess since these are real wood there are inconsistencies in the weight of the wood. Not a problem and and easy fix. All in all a good deal for the price and I would recommend this trap.

Well built and effective.
These are very effective in ridding mice from my basement. The build quality is excellent.

Slowly reducing the mice...
These walk the plank mousecatchers are easy to install and work well. We've caught about 10 mice so far. We have them set up back by our compost pile where too many rodents were creating issues. I like that they are set up and forget. I do check the bucket daily and remove any mice with a small rake...and bury them. Just have to remember to top up the water occasionally as it evaporates away over time. I bought a 'spin roller' bucket mousecatcher at the same time. The 2 buckets are set right next to each other and both baited with peanut butter. Not a single mouse has been caught in the 'spin roller'; all 10 mice were caught in the walk the plank bucket.

Has pros and cons
I've used this in a couple of places and have caught a number of rodents. So far it appears effective and it was easy to adjust. The device does need the right bucket as one with a big lip or flange near the top doesn't allow this is to sit flush. If you use peanut butter, you need to change it frequently as it will dry out and this is easily done. The device takes a good amount of space to set up with the bucket and ramps.

Couldn't catch them till I got this.
I stuck a few kernels of corn on the end of the plank with peanut butter, and a couple on the approach plank, halfway and at the bottom. I caught six mice the first night, which had all been licking bait off other traps without springing them. Six more in the next couple days amazed me. I thought there was one mouse in the house.
